Well, it was a tough one...I was at odds between Lopez, Randolph and Love...Though is ceiling doesn't look as high I felt a potential 20+ppg and 8-10 rpg, will do. I'd figured I'd fill their most glaring need...a legit center with size

Horrible pick, Lopez is going to be a bust. You shoot 46% from the field in college against crappy bigs and you can bet yourself that your going to suck against legit players in the nba.

Although you probably just made a new best friend in o.iatl

Damn, I wouldn't say a horrible pick...that's harsh...lol...I'm just filling the Grizzlies need for a legit center. We're supposed to draft by what the teams would get, and I believe that if Lopez there at #5 the Grizz would jump on him.

It came down to work ethic with Love. He seemed to play out of shape until right when it came time for the Pre-Draft camp. I'm not sure if he has the proper motivation to stay in shape once he gets in. And he's not motivated by money either. It just seemed to me that as much I like Love, he only lost weight and pushed himself when it came to raising his draft stock...will that motivation hold? I hope so, but I didn't want to use a #5 to figure it out.

And with Randolph, although athletic...he seemed a little too raw for that pick. So I went with a solid pick...he fills a need and won't be a star, but he should contribute as a starting Center and chip in around 20ppg and 8-10 rpg from the jump

Why not? If he goes to Memphis, he will be their inside scoring and they don't have anyone else to keep him from getting that many boards. I see alot of passes from Conley inside to Lopez coming in the near future

The problem I have with the pick is it was a safe pick. I think a team that is rebuilding, like Memphis, should go for the player, or big man in this case, with the most potential to be a star. I've seen, Lopez, Jordan, Love, Arthur and Randolph at this spot in mock drafts, and I would have picked any of the others for Memphis based on potential.

This was tough for me. I was between Love, Gordon, Danilo, and and Arthur.

I like the Gordon pick. We have no idea what the new front office will do to the roster, so they might as well pick the player with the most potential at any position, and Gordon was thought of with the top three earlier in the season.

IDK where this Lopez doesn't have potiental thing came from. He's probably just being sterotyped, because he's NBA ready, but there are many aspect in his game that he can get alot better in. It's kinda like Horford from last year, he was an NBA ready big, and because of that people said he had limited upside for some reason.

I would have liked to see Danilo picked at this spot. With his ability to run the point-forward, I think he would flourish in D'Antoni's offensive systyem, assuming he runs it in New York.

oh no no I wasn't blaming you for any delay or anything...I was just trying to explain to JCB why he might not have gotten a notice about this starting yet because it hasn't gotten to his pick. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

He's from LA, he played college ball in LA, he's a great fit for the Clippers.

    Obvious pick.

I was hoping he would fall to me...but Love isn't a bad pick up at #9. With the way he's been playing as of late in his workouts
