    Stabler arrested on DWI charge

    ROBERTSDALE, Alabama (Ticker) -- Former Oakland Raiders quarterback Kenny Stabler was arrested for driving under the influence early Sunday morning, his third such charge.

    A spokesman for the Robertsdale police department said Stabler, 59, was arrested at 1 a.m. after being pulled over for reckless driving.

    Previously arrested for DWI in 1995 and 2001, Stabler posted a $1,000 bond and was released from jail.

    Stabler played for the Raiders from 1970-79, leading the team to its first Super Bowl victory in 1977. He also played for the the Houston Oilers (1980-81) and New Orleans Saints (1982-84).

    Its sad that he has ended up like this. I grew up hearing lots of stories about him since he was my dads favorite football player of all time.

    rarely does a comment make me laugh out loud, but that got to me....its good thing i wasnt drinking soda, or out my nose it would have come
