If I feel sick after I eat--like I feel like I'm going to puke--and it has been happening off and on for about a week now...what could it be? If it doesn't stop by Friday, I'm going to make a Dr. appt.

Have you eaten anything that tasted strange recently?

Any other symptoms? Here's a website that I've used before where you just put in your symptoms and it tells you what kind of illness you (may) have:

Could be anything, but you better go to a doctor, if it doesn't stop in the next few days.

Try and drink a lot of water, see if that helps.

If it's serious then go to the doctor, I don't like messing with other people's health. For myself I'd probably try a few things, I'd get a good night sleep, I'd eat less overall, drink plenty of water, eat soups, cooked veggies. I'd stay away from harder to digest foods like meat, chicken, fish, really spicy foods, and really fatty foods.

an uneasy feeling after you eat, could be blood sugar, so I would check that....try to do it after you 1st wake up or after 8 hours of fasting....it should be between 80-120....if its higher, you may have a problem that needs to be addressed....

    So far so good today.

Water isn't a problem, I drink plenty of that.

I do'nt eat much junk food, rarely eat fast food, don't drink soda...

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm sure it's nothing major, I just wanted to know if anyone has had this experience before.

just to clarify, if its is a blood sugar issue, your blood sugar reacts to everything, not just junk....although candy will jack you in a hurry, so will bread, pasta, and any sweet fruit like an orange....have you noticed any increase in temper?

Well, I usually get sick in the morning. I'm used to it by now...Most of the time, though, it's after I eat something - even as small as a cereal bar.

If you start feeling the symptoms again after today, then stop watching Laker games. You're not as tough as you think. It's obvious you cannot handle the pressure [IMG]

With all due respect to you fine folks who are just trying to help...Mamba, I would take any advice you receive and ignore it. Go see a doctor, bud.

    Drink some Pepto-Bismol.

I hate that stuff. Good thing I haven't needed it in almost 4 years.

Seriously though, see a doctor. That's always the safest and best route.
