I'm totally down for going through every championship and giving it to the losing team. Its about time to right all these wrongs.

 

It was pretty apparent something was wrong

last year when the Donaghy thing first broke and the NBA trumpeted its zero-tolerance policy for gambling and then promptly reversed itself and changed the policy after it came out everyone had been ignoring it.

Whether the zero-tolerance gambline thing was a good idea or not, it seemed pretty crazy to me, and unlike Stern, to roll over for a refs like that.

I mean, if you look at the refs:
1. They’re getting paid very handsomely to do something lots of people volunteer to do.
2. They thumbed their nose at the rules when the primary function of their job is to take them seriously.

Honestly I see no reason they shouldn’t have fired the whole lot of them, even if it was 75% of the league. They’re replaceable, but the league’s integrity is not.

 

Well, the Pistons' title seemed pretty legit.

Reminding myself of times back at another site, I've come to the conclusion that Net fans would definetly settle for taking Wade's ring away.

What's sad is that everybody who watched this atrocity go down knew something was wrong, something wasn't right, that we were all being lied to and manipulated....but we were all just powerless to stop it. And I'm not sure if I'm talking about the NBA or life right now.

 

Phil Jackson totally ripped into this thread.

Shaq got one free throw in that game IIRC. I think the Lakers got shafted in that game.

That's different than in 91' when the Bulls only got 8 free throws, or 93' when the Bulls only got 9 free throws. The discrepancy wasn't anywhere near +20.</div>

The Kings wouldn't have stopped the Nets from getting transition baskets and KVH would have been a matchup problem for the Kings
