    Yea, I agree with that.

Can somebody explain what's up with that Rockets/Mavs game? People keep referencing it, but I don't remember it.

David Stern being an attorney, he would know that Tim Donaghy is in no position to lie. If he lies, he loses his reduced sentence, and will definitely get hammered for the most he can be. With as many allegations as Donaghy has made so far...it is hard to believe the guy is lying. Why would he give so many opportunities for himself to get caught lying?

Here's a news piece out of Sacramento.

    http://cbs13.com/sports/nba.ref.tim.2.745336.html

Also, here is an ESPN story abou how these allegations got brought about (Stern tried to make Donaghy pay the NBA back 1 million dollars).

Someone needs to torrent game 6 and 7 btw. What about game 7 against the Blazers in 2000? Not sure if there was foul play there too, but I remember the Blazers having like a 19 point lead and losing it.

EXACTLY.....A lawyer on ESPN said the same thing.....which makes me think even more that Donaghy is telling the truth.

So I think its fair to say that the Los Angeles Lakers were the most benefited team in the league by all these refs that got paid to change the outcome of the games. (they got rings to show it)

I say put an asterisks on their 2002 championship (and any other one that is found to be rigged), just like people want to put an * on Barry Bonds' career.</div>
lets put an asterick on the Patriots for being cheaters.

The Kings were given game 5 by a bad call out of bounds that gave Bibby a three.

Then they choked disgusting style in the 7th game by missing 15 FTs in an OT game. I don't see how we should be putting an asterisk on anything, and it was clear to anyone that the Miami Series was just as disgusting.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>lol, come on now some laker fans call out everyone else when the officiating's bad, but fail to see that the refs in game 6 were probably worse than all the other games you'll bring up. I've seen plenty of times where a guy gets to the line 20 + times in a game, but I've never seen one team be favored in "one quarter" of basketball so much....27 FTs““?......................I repeat 27 FTs in ONE quarter“?, lol............at least with an "entire game" you can say one team was more aggressive than the other, but this game was so bad that you had people wanting to investigate it the very next day......I wouldn't doubt that the game was indeed rigged.</div>

This is a double standard, there is no doubt that as a Wade fan you're just ignoring the obvious. This type of FT discrepancy in Game 5 of that series is almost unheard of .

Come on Dream, the Wade series was fishy as hell. For anyone except their fans.

I don't need other Pat fans lecturing to me about asterisks either.

Now this is just looking desperate. Have something concrete before we start focusing on just one team to screw over.

The interesting thing is that I firmly believe NBA referees are capable of honestly officiating a game worse than a rigged one.

The Mavs choked on fish. Hmmm, I hadn't heard that theory before.

Was it a particularly bony fish?

Yes, but still far, far stronger than your theory of the 2006 Finals being fixed for Miami

I'll clarify for the point that went over your head.

It's fishy as hell in the sense that there was bad officiating. I never wonder if that was done intentionally, because that doesn't matter.
