Okay so this thread is for the participants in the MMA fantasy draft. Now that you have a team, tell us what you're going to do with it.
Create an 11 fight card and list the matchups you're going to have and why you think fans will by your PPV fight card.

When all fight cards are posted with a rational behind the card, I'll create a poll and ppl can vote on which card they would pay $$$ to see.

good luck all [IMG]

265 Lbs: Fabricio Werdum (#6 HW) vs Shane Carwin (#12 HW)
170 Lbs: Hayato Mach Sakurai (#20 WW) vs Marcus Davis (#27 WW)

Main Event:
So for my inaugural event, I’m headling Shogun Rua, winner of the Pride LHW Grand Prix and Tito Ortiz, a man who knows how to hype an event and bring in viewers. Tito is no longer a top of the food chain fighter, but since he’s been part of 2 of the highest grossing PPV’s and the highest rated UFC TV event, I think it's safe to say he's still a draw and people will pay to see him headline a fight card. Always have to think about making money and being able to put on another show.

Main Card:
The real draw is my stacked LW tourney. BJ vs Hermes could be a grappling clinic. Gomi faces a tough up and comer in Matt Wiman as there are no easy fights in this tourney but he should win, setting up a 2nd round fight vs the winner of the Alvarez/Hansen fight. JZ vs Tyson = two strong ground and pounders going toe to toe with the winner facing BJ. Eddie Alvarez and Joachim Hansenjust had what many people consider the fight of the year in Dream. Why not see if they can do it again? If things go the way most people think it would, Gomi would face BJ in the finals to determine the real #1 Lightweight in the world. If it doesn’t someone else could have a shot at either fighter for the SFC’s LW title and title of best LW.

Josh Barnett is a great fighter and a solid promoter of his fights. He and Heath Herring have been around for years but have never fought. Both put on solid fights, this one would be very interesting.

Under card:
Thiago Alves is part of the new bread of MMA fighter and he proved it this past weekend. Gono is the old school and tough like all Japanese fighters. This will be an entertaining fight.

Aleks vs Sergei has two top ten Heavy Weights facing off and two former Red Devil team members. Aleks has a previous win over Sergei so expect Sergei to come out hard to try and avenge his previous loss. Winner would face the winner of Barnet vs Herring

Keith Jardine is coming of a vicious loss and Bisping is finding new strength at middle weight. I think Bisping would have no problems coming back to light heavy weight for this potential stand up war.

Werdum’s experience vs Shane Carwin’s rising star. Carwin is a great wrestler who prefers to strike. Werdum is a BJJ master who has improved his stand up. Who would want to take it to the ground first? With 6 top 20 HW’s, signing two more talented HW’s would allow me to have a HW grand prix after the LW grand prix is complete.

Veteran UFC/Pride/Shooto fighter Mach Sakurai is a legend in the sport and tough as they come. Marcus Davis has improved vastly since his first showings on The Ultimate Fighter and just had an 11 fight win streak stopped. This fight will be an explosive way to start the first (and not last) Scottish Fighting Championship!

Besides the regular cash bonuses, fight winners receive straight from Scotland 20 year old Scotch [IMG] [IMG]

Now tell me you wouldn’t pay to see this card on PPV!!!

Yeah, I was thinking of putting that on the main card but Gonzaga and Kongo are more known and besides Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto vs. Jeff "The Big Frog" Curran, Joe "Daddy" Stevenson vs. Jens "Little Evil" Pulver and Tatsuya "Crusher" Kawajiri vs. Spencer "The King" Fisher would all probibally make it on the broadcast.

Renato Sorbral vs Ricardo Arona
Dustin Hazelett vs Mike Swick
Jason Macdonald vs Vitor Belfort @205
Clay Guida vs Rich Clementi

Main Event
Welterweight belt unification fight. This would be a great fight, Jake Shields is a Cesar Gracie trained BJJ black belt, a great wrestler, and has been training his standup with Chuck Liddell. Not much needs to be said about GSP's skills, he has very explosive wrestling and his stand up is great. This match would be exciting no matter where it goes, both fighters have great cardio and want to push the pace.

Main Event
Mac Danzig vs Roger Huerta
Roger Huerta, looking to extend that 11 fight win streak of his will come into this fight with a lot of determination. This great all around fighter will go in looking to push the pace, take Danzig down and ground and pound him until the ref stops it or until Danzig gives him an opening to submit him. Mac Danzig, a bjj fighter and boxer, will look to either keep this fight standing or look for submissions from his back. Having a 12 fight win streak before his lost to Clay French, beating a top lightweight like Huerta will boost Danzig in the LW ranks along with extending his current win streak.
Shinya Aoki vs Nate Diaz
Two fighters that specialize in BJJ, this will be a very exciting fight. Both fighters will be looking to submit the other no matter what position they are in. This especially applies to Aoki who has earned the nickname "Tobikan Judan," meaning "tenth degree black belt in jumping locks"
Wanderlei Silva vs Sokoudjou
Sokoudjou a fighter that earned his fame for knocking out both Ricardo Arona and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the first round will look to slug it out with MMA leged Wanderlei Silva. This fight will prove to be a very exciting fight where both fighters will look to stand up and throw bombs.
Jon Fitch Karo Parisyan
This is the fight for top welterweight contender. Jon Fitch, like many other mma fighters, started out as a wrestler. After training at AKA his improved stand up and all around skills have allowed him to have an 8 fight win streak in the UFC. He will be wanting to come out and push the pace and either look to use the ground and pound to finish the fight or keep it standing and try to Knock Parisyan out. Parisyan, currently training with Xtreme Couture. will look to use his judo skills to put Fitch on the ground and work for a submission or work the ground and pound.
Martin Kampmann vs Patrick Cote
The first televised fight to start of the night, this match will prove to be a very exciting battle between Xtreme Couture Muay Thai specialist Martin Kampmann and Brazilian Top Team Canada kickboxer Patrick Cote. Both fighters will prefer to keep it standing but both have shown the ability to work the ground game to submit their opponents or punish them with a deadly ground and pound game.

Undercard
Yushin Okami vs Denis Kang
A fight between two top 15 185 pound fighters. Okami, a very powerful wrestler will look to take Kang down and utilize the ground and pound until Kang gives up his back or the ref stops it. Kang will look to keep it standing so he can utilize his boxing skills or use his BJJ for submissions from the bottom if he gets taken down.
Renato Sobral vs Ricardo Arona
In a fight between two BJJ style fighters, both fighters will look to take the other down and utilize their submission skills.
Dustin Hazelett vs Mike Swick
Two very exciting 170 pound fighters will face each other in this bout. Dustin Hazelett, a rather young fighter, showed a lot of promise in his lost to top 10 welterweight fighter Josh Koschek. Mike Swick, a fighter that recently dropped to 170, known for finishing many of his opponents in the first round. This AKA product will look to add Hazelett to that list and cotinue his climb to the top of the 170 pound food chain.
Jason Macdonald vs Vitor Belfort
Jason Macdonald will be making the move to the 205 weight class in this inagural Combat event to face MMA veteran Vitor Belfort. Both fighters are BJJ style fighters and will look to utilize there skills from the ground. Belfort though, can be thought of as the more accomplished striker, 10 of his 16 wins have come by knockout.
Clay Guida vs Rich Clementi
Fan Favourite Clay Guida will look to push the pace againist Rich Clementi. The unrelentless energy that Guida brings with him to every fight will be what makes this a very exciting fight.

205 Antonio Rogeiro Nogueira v. Wilson Gouveia
265 Brandon Vera v. Roger Gracie
155 Thiago Tavares v. Frankie Edgar
140 Tara LaRosa v. Gina Carano

Main Event
Anderson Silva and Ricardo Almeida have both beaten Nate Marquardt. Almeida's trainer, Renzo Gracie, actually kicked Marquardt in the face after that fight for not separating quickly enough. Pitting a Gracie black belt against a Nogueira black belt creates a dramatic main fight for the Brazillian fans. Almeida has been quietly training his students over the last few years despite having been on track to a championship fight--now he is back in action and ready to prove that he has the strength and the ground game to reach the next level. The main event pits the King of Pancrase against the world's top mixed martial artist and UFC Middleweight Champion.

Featured Bout
Undefeated light heavyweights Lyoto Machida and Thiago Silva clash in a fight that is both a contrast of styles and ideologies. Machida, the Black House tactician, has his hands full with the vicious ground-and-pound monster Silva, who has finished 12 of his 13 fights by submission or knockout. Silva was a Chute Boxe fighter who now trains with American Top Team. His Thai boxing is excellent which provides a good test for Machida's patient Shotokan Karate counter-striking.

Televised Card
Fan favourite Andrei Arlovski will have to put extra fangs in his mouth guard if he is to take a bite out of former super heavyweight Antonio Silva. Both fighters have massive punching power and developed submission games. It will be a major test to see if Arlovski can keep the fight standing and win a boxing match with the clubbing Brazillian, and to see if Silva can out-muscle the Belarusian Sambo fighter.

Urjiah Faber puts his featherweight crown on the line in one of his toughest fights yet against IFL champion and black belt Wagnney Fabiano. The fighters share a common opponent in Jeff Curran, who Faber finished and Fabiano lost a close decision to. Both fighters have grown since fighting The Big Frog and a technical war is sure to ensue with Faber attempting to Donkey Kong pummel from Fabiano's guard, while the Brazillian looks for armbars and triangle chokes from his back.

Top pound-for-pound fighter and reigning bantamweight kingpin Miguel Torres, fresh off his dramatic third-round TKO victory and title defense in the WEC, faces even stronger competition in Shooto world champion Masakatsu Ueda, an undefeated Japanese wrestler and jiujitsu expert who trains with DREAM Lightweight Tournament favourite Shinya Aoki. Expect fireworks as the combustible, pocket-sized warriors exorcise their small man complexes on each other with fists and feet.

The first televised fight of the night treats Brazillian fans to the return of native son and slick PRIDE veteran Vitor Ribeiro, healed from eye surgery and ready to retake his place among the top lightweights in combat sports. His opponent is Spanish smashing machine Gilbert Melendez, the reigning Strikeforce Lightweight Champion and Fairtex Gym product who has wins over the likes of Clay Guida and Tatsuya Kawajiri.

Undercard
In what promises to be the best grappling match outside of the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships, two-time World Open-weight Jiujitsu Champion Ronaldo da Souza faces Brazillian Top Team submission master Rousimar Palhares. The fighters have won 14 of their combined 18 fights by submission, so expect the snap, tap or nap rule to be the ending of this fight.

After bouncing around federations former PRIDE star Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has found a home in the Warrior's Union. Little Nog's first challenge is defeating American Top Team kickboxer Wilson Gouveia in what promises to be a short but sweet bout.

Speaking of BJJ experts, ADCC Champion and blue-chip heavweight prospect Roger Gracie returns to MMA to do battle with the well-rounded Thai boxer Brandon Vera. Gracie has the size and technique to be a champion at heavyweight, but his opponents laser-sharp striking and clinch game will prove difficult for him to deal with.

Also on the undercard is a bout between lightweight prospects Thiago Tavares and Frankie Edgar. Tavares has a well-rounded submissions game while Edgar brings a great wrestling pedigree with him to the cage.

Finally, in a fight years in the making, top female MMA figher Tara LaRosa finally gets her wish and fights part-time American Gladiator, part-time MMA phenom Gina Carano. No love is lost between these two fighters and where better to settle their score than in humid Curitiba?

So, that's all 5 of us (I don't think Flush will be turning up, his org went under before it could hold it's first event!), so it's time for anyone and everyone to vote!
(please, no douche-moves, don't vote for yourself)
feel free to let us know who and why you voted for them.

I voted for the Mortal Combat card. Aside from the MacDonald/Belfort fight, I think the card is nicely balanced and I'd like to see every match on it.

I voted for the Mortal combat fight card.
I was close to takine ZAE's but Fedor vs Big Nog has been done twice with resounding results.

I still think chocolove's top 3 fights are squash fights as GSP, Huerta and Aoki win easily.
I love the Wand vs Sokoudjou fight and Fitch vs Parisyan is a #1 contender fight to face GSP after he runs over Sheilds.

Of course my fav fight to see would be Clay Guida vs Celmentti. [IMG]

was a tough call to make as I was tempted by Big Frame's card of brock vs lashely and the chance to see Kimbo put on his ass and literally spanked by Couture [IMG] . I also liked Speeds grapple fest undercard. It was really smart to hold that card in Brazil.

I'm a little surprised nobody voted to see Randy Couture against Kimbo Slice. Seems like that would be one of the biggest attention-grabbing PPV headliners ever. Probably bigger than anything we've seen in the last year.

it's the most intriguing and best main event out of all the cards IMO. Everyone else has solid choices, but also either has an unknown fighter to casual fans (almeida, Shogun, Sheilds) or a fight that's been done Fedor vs Nog III? but Randy's star has diminished this year IMO and that's perhaps why it's been passed over.

so I'd say BF has the best Main event out of all of us.

I just liked Chocolove's card the best for fights I wanted to see the most.

I'ma wrap this up soon as most ppl have voted already.
