They keep talking about how Pierce failed to show up and Gasol is giving Garnett fits, however, I haven't seen them mention about Gasol and Odom not showing up, yet. Kobe and Allen showed up to play yesterday, and Gasol showed up defensively. Both teams need more production out of their core players, yet the media seems to only be focusing on Boston. Anybody else notice this?

You won, so Pierce and Garnett's awful play is a bigger story because the focus is what the winner did right and what the losers did wrong. After Game 2 all the talk was about Phil talking about the refs. After Game 1, it was Pierce's knee. There's been bigger stories. If the Celtics win and Odom and Gasol continue to be poor, that will be talked about then.
I can NOT ****ing believe, Skip Bayless of all ****ing people was defending us from the waffling Stephen A. today. ESPN just sucks period.

BSPN's VIEW OF LAMAR/PAU: They didn't show up, Kobe failed to make them better, he didn't play like an MVP because he didn't get their best game out of them BSPN's VIEW OF PIERCE/KG: They just had a bad game, it won't happen again Why can't the same argument for Pau and Lamar be used, that is being used for KG and Pierce?
I've been noticing all this anti-Laker smack that's been going around. 1. Going back to 2002 hinting that Lakers were given the WCF with the Donaghy stuff. 2. Making all this "Boston crowds are better than what LA has" BS. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/080611 for article, written by Bill Simmons so no real suprise there. 3. Like mentioned before in posts and threads before me, KG, PP, and Allen being gods and have "excusable" bad games. Kobe, Odom, and Gasol, either finally doing their job or failing miserably. Win or Lose, Lakers are the losers to ESPN at no suprise. "They don't deserve to win or they're not good enough to duel KG."
