You are in a room, and a man offers you $10,000,000 to push a button. When you push the button, a random person from the world dies. It could be you, it could be a family member, but odds are against it with so many billions of people in the world. If you decide not to push the button, the man gives you the key to leave. Do you push the button for the $10 million?
No, because then I would live eternity in hell. Also, after everything I've gathered from movies and stuff like that, the person that dies will probably be someone really close to you, like a family member or a close friend.
Hm. Depends on who that someone is. Osama? Hell yes. Rapist? Definitely. That dude that cut me off the other day? Maybe. Carrie Underwood? No way in hell. Not even with a gun to my head.

No movie theatrics here.

My answer is no. While I would turn assassin in certain circumstances, it is against a fundamental tenet of my religion to kill another without cause - especially a random person.

You can't put a price on life, no matter if it's $10 mil or $100 mil. And yes, I'm positive I wouldn't push the button.

I'm not going to lie, I would think about it pretty damn hard. Are there any legal consequences? If not, I'm killing someone.

But apparently there is a price on life....$10 million. 11 more people died since my last post at least.
It's not religious or anything for me. It's just knowing I'm ending a life because some nutjob wants to check my morals. You're not just effecting this person you kill. You're effecting everyone around him. That could be thousands of people.

If I'm in desperate need of money, if I'm broke or living on the streets, then maybe. If I'm Latrell Spreewell, I probably do it. But otherwise, no. I'm living comfortably as it is, and there's no need for me to take someone else's life for money.
