Keep an eye on Garnett in this video. So yeah, I thought these were not allowed. Maybe the refs will do a better job of calling them next time before he kills someone?

And LMAO at Doc Rivers complaining about the call. Does the man have eyes?

In that one sequence, he must of tackled at least 4 players.

He has been doing this a lot, it's finally being called out by commentators. Mark Jackson talked about KG always setting illegal screens last game. I expect the referees to look for it more.

I don't expect a whistle every illegal screen, just on the more obvious ones.

LMAO that sequence is ridiculous, though. If I were Mitch, I'd send it to the league, just so they were aware of it.

We should put in Mbenga to throw some of those @ Garnett.

OMG, that was nuts. I remember that play but I wasn't paying close attention to KG. That motherfucker, what the **** does he think he's doing, wow.

Well, that was tragicomic. He must be nuts for making these screens. And there wasn't only one violent screen, there were plenty of them.

Holy crap. Seriously, look at the first "screen". There's a ref about 6 feet away from him who says nothing.

That video was interesting to say the least.

THis one cat on the YouTUbe comments summed it up perfectly:

"Garnett looks like he's bouncing around a boxing ring."

Those were brutal noncalls that were somewhat made up for, because he finally got called at the worst possible moment.

[IMG] Lol! Wow! I noticed him setting alot of illegal screens on Kobe all night. It was almost as if he was connected to Kobe's hip everytime Kobe tried to get around one. But this video is somethin else! What makes it so hilarious is that everyone of them is so obvious. KG doesn't even look like a basketball player in this sequence. He looks like that guy you play pick up ball with, that doesnt know how to play the game but he thinks he's good, so he runs around trying to do everything way over aggressively . [IMG]

Even KG wasn't arguing to the refs about it.

Haha, that was a pretty funny sequence.

There were 4 semi-screens in that sequence.

The first one was terrible as he used his arms to push Vujacic pretty good. lol
The 2nd one on Vujacic I think was fine, he was set when vujacic hit him and he stepped back because of the impact.
THe 3rd one on Vujacic was a probably no call.
The 4th one on fisher was a hip check, and he got called for it.

Part of it is KG is so skinny. If Dwight Howard was setting those screens and doing those things he'd get called for it, and I'm sure Fisher/Vujacic/Kobe would try to sell the foul more.

KG has been doing the same thing throughout the game. It's crazy how he was only call for one offensive foul. With the allegations that are going on...its obvious that something sketchy and shady is going on. I have given up on this Finals. I dont think the officials are being fair! It gets me mad to see it. I wont be upset any more if the Lakers lose. Did any one see the travel KG also made and no call was made. [IMG]

Giving up on the Finals now looks weak. As wack as the officials have been, it is extremely unlikely such a difference in FTs from Game 2 will occur again, so relax. There's no getting back on the bandwagon. :[

Sorry I'm late, I was at work. KG does set illegal screens, but so does pretty much every other player in the league. If you disagree with that, then you're fooling yourself. They never call it anymore unless it's blatant, and they very rarely call it in crunch time. I remember Bill Simmons writing an article a while back, mentioning that there is no such thing as an illegal screen anymore unless the player sticks their leg out to trip the guy. If they ever started to call all of them, games would take twice as long. At this point, its just become part of the game.

Um...I remember back when Jason Collins was on the Nets, and when Nenad didn't play like a punk bitch...we'd get about ~5 illegal screen calls a game, IIRC.
