Game 4 of Celtics vs Lakers

    or

Game 6 of Spurs vs Lakers (which eventually ended our 3-Peats)

I remembered sitting at home, crying in that game 6. But this one is hard to swallow. It's fuking ...HARD!

Co-sign. If Bynum was healthy, this series would have been a lot different.

I think about it the same way, there is no way we'll know if we can make it back to the Finals again. That's why we need to do the best we can while we're still alive.

I understand what position we are in but I'm a Laker fan and what fan can sit here and say that they are gonna stop believing so people who say I need to start thinking realistically...I AM. So shut the hell up and get out of here unless you have something constructive to say or are giving up.

I feel bad for Sasha as well. He seemed to try hard, and saved us in Game 2.

It's not ignoring nor am I not emotional...I've stuck by this team since I was born so don't ever question me. You don't think this hurts me too? But what kind of profanity, disbelief, and doubt is going to help my team win. None. Because I believe that the more I stick by this team and cheer for them I can sit here as a fan and say that I stuck and fought by my boys. You get over it and move on.

Calm down guys. A loss is a loss. If you can't be mature about it, get off the site, and return when you cool down

As for me, Game 6 against the Spurs definitely hurt. Seeing Fisher and Kobe crying was not a pretty sight for Laker fans, and knowing that our dynasty was at stake was a horrible feeling, especially when you think about all those games we lost, and how we could've possibly forced a Game 7 had Horry's half court shot got a luckier bounce

As for tonight, I'm not really too emotional, or as emotional as I could be. I guess it was dissapointing, but we didn't deserve to win tonight. Not with the way we basically handed the Celtics free points

I do remember that sad Game 6 against the Spurs, but the Shaq era really tore at me. I don't like thinking about his contributions or that time too much actually.

Come to think of it, Game 6 hurts the most. We were on a run for 4-Peats and got snap. This game hurts but not there considering we haven't proving anything yet. Sure we get to the Final, but previous to that, we haven't done anything special. Also this game, I just don't know why we lost when we played this hard. Sure if some guys didn't show up and we lost, I am okay. But all of our players showing up and we still lost. Gotta give Celtics credit, they kept knocking down big shot after big shot.

game 6 spurs. the future seemed so uncertain then. winning 3 straight then to see it all crashing down was painful, especially seeing fish and kobe on the bench.

P.S i hope a some crazed sniepr puts one in john barry's bald head.

you're right, if Bynum doesn't get injured, no trade for Gasol and it's the Spurs vs Celtics in the finals. [IMG]

You can put the Pistons series on that list as well. That was most painful for me. I knew we were through after that series.

This series doesn't bother me as much. In October, EVERYONE was saying LA was screwed, look how far we got???? Yeah, we are in a HUGE hole now, but we got a boy just waiting to suit up on our bench named Andrew Bynum. The difference maker.

When we lost to San Antonio, I couldn't sleep, but I knew, Shaq, Kobe, and Phil weren't done yet. Those 3 have champion running deep in their veins. A champion who loses just makes a hungrier champion. We went out and got The Glove and The Mailman. I thought we had it for sure, but the Pistons had a different agenda.

We have one of the youngest teams in the league, the Celts are a veteran team. Sure, they got promising players in Rondo (who is gonna be a starter for the rest of his career, but NEVER a star) and Leon Powe, who is, and has been, my darkhorse for being a great player in this league, but in reality, KG, RayRay, and The Truth are not young players.

Next year, I want Boston again. Homecourt is gonna be ours, barring any big injuries (knock on wood), and I don't think Boston can even make a series outta it.

Unless the award is rigged, or LeBron becomes the Big O overnight, Kobe is gonna win the MVP again next yr. We have the greatest leader in the league, the ultimate winner, the ultimate warrior, Mr. Kobe Bean Bryant. Numero Dos Cuatro.

Phil Jackson. The Zen Master. The Great General. Even he will have the eye of a hungry champion wanting to be fed. Boston Globe, sorry, Doc does not even come close to the Master at coaching.

LA's future: Farmar, Ariza, BYNUM (future top center in the league)
    Boston's future: ???????

As KG says, "Five is a brotherhood." The Lakers identify with this as good as any other team in the league. Our Band of Brothers will not let the city of LA down next year.

So here's to next year. Here's to a future 70-win season. We may not hold the championship gold, but this young team has learned an important lesson from a couple of veterans that call themselves the Boston Three Party. Next year, the students will surpass their teachers. Next year, the rest of the league, BEWARE.
