Persecute me... Last night was the first game the entire playoffs that I did not watch in my room. The ENTIRE PLAYOFFS. I am a superstitious Laker fan. I don't change up my routine if they're on fire, on a streak, or if they're having a good game. I won't leave my room if they're on a run, I won't do anything... Last night, I switched it up. Last night, I watched the game at my GF's house with her dad and her grandpa. I didn't wear my Laker shirt (I haven't washed it all Finals), instead...I hung it in my rear view mirror. What happens? The biggest collapse in NBA FINALS history. I am disgusted with myself. Shape, if you want, ban me. I am the reason that we are now down 3-1 with about a 1% chance of coming back to win it all.
Haha, I don't think you're the reason we collapsed. You weren't the one who forgot how to play in the 2nd half.
ha, I was watching the game at my neighbor's house and actually considered leaving for home in the first quarter because the C's were losing so badly. It's amazing what goes through the head of die hard sports fans like us.
Heh, this was the first game Finals I've missed completely. Ha, it's funny though, when the Lakers started falling apart, I stopped watching the Yahoo! gamecast, hoping that the bleeding would stop.

Lol Mamba, nice funny post to brighten the mood. I wish it was this simple, but this being so difficult to overcome will make it sweeter in the end.
I've got a confession to make as well. I never do this but early in the 4th quarter of game 2 I was so disgusted I turned off my tv. People started calling me saying were only down by 11 now with a few minutes left. I just said so they arent gonna come all the way back. People kept calling and saying they were closer every couple seconds. So I got excited but refused to turn on my tv since they were making the come back. Then when I got the phone call that they were only down by 2 I broke down and turned the game back on. The Lakers never scored again once I turned it on. I apologize. Black Mamba and I should jump off a cliff.
I was concentrating the entire game... come 3 rd quarter me and my friends were hungry so we grabbed some crackers... every bite shrunk our lead LOL I just thought id share this crazy thought just like all you guys... Well, good luck to us next season
EFF YOU MAMBA. There would have been one more NBA Finals game. Now I am out one NBA game, and what do I have to look forward to? The Olympics? pfffffffffff

Someone kidnap Mamba and put in him in Hawaii so he can never watch the Lakers at home and they will proceed to go 0-82 forever!!!!
I live in PA, so most kids around here are Sixer or LeBron fans. Whenever I watch a basketball game, and don't get all excited about it, we win. But whenever I start texting friends like "You said what about the Lakers? Check the score!" If they are up by 5 or, in this case, 24, they always lose. If I go into a game with a little confidence, we win, if I go into a game with too much or no confidence, we lose. WEIRD. I texted my friend before the 3rd quarter and he told me, I'll never forget, "I'm calling this shit now. The Lakers collapse and lose."
My pops called this game over at halftime believe it or not (he's an LA fan btw). Yeah he'll still watch the rest of the series though, I think that's cool.
I went back to routine...we win. That's it. I need to find a new routine for Boston. I need to perfect it, because we haven't won in Boston.
