<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Guard Kelenna Azubuike has decided to opt out of his contract, making him a restricted free-agent this summer, according to The San Francisco Chronicle. He joins teammates Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins in free agency. Azubuike made $797,581 last season and is looking at a nice raise after posting 8.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. "I think everybody would hope that it would get done early," said Mike Higgins, who represents Azubuike. "But I don't envy them because they have a lot on their plate. Just like with any team, they only have a certain amount of dollars to spend, and a lot of guys to sign."</div> Source
He's good, but consistency-wise, you have to wonder if he'll be more like JRich at some point. If he's inconsistent and streaky like Bonzi Wells, I'd say pass. And I like Bonzi Wells, I just think he can't repeat performances too often, so it makes him a questionable starter and bench guy. All in all I like Azu's game (because he's one of the few warriors who tried to take the ball inside), but he's a question mark.

He'll definitely get more than the minimum like he got last season but I doubt hes going to be out of GS unless some team offers him an absurd contract.

Well then, hopefully, now...with Pietrus and Barnes leaving, he'll get some more minutes.
I hope he's back. Definitely not worth big starter money, but I love Azu off the bench and I'd rather see him than Barnes or Pietrus any day of the week.
i don't think buke is thinking about being a starter just yet. he did well last season when sjax was out and towards the end even though nelson didn't give him the pt he was expecting. with mp leaving (i'm not as sure about my bad), azubuike should be another one of mullin's key targets for the warriors.
