Jordan, Alexander, Westbrook Highlight Next Round
June 13, 2008, 9:46 pm DeAndre Jordan is slipping in the eyes of those who make the picks, Joe Alexander is rising, as is Russell Westbrook and all will be in town next week, hoping to catch that ring marked #10 in the lottery. Jordan has already been scheduled for Monday, the other two will be in later in the week. Among the more intriguing of the others: Israeli Omri Casspi and streak shooters Sean Singletary and Jaycee Carroll.

Sasha Kaun was an interesting prospect in the Orlando pre-draft camp this year. He reminded me a lot of Josh Boone; a guy who can scrap together buckets yet has no identifiable post or midrange game (but with more Jewish).

I hope Jordan does poorly, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.

And it'll be interesting to see how Singletary does. I always liked him at UVA, but I just don't think he has a spot in the NBA.

I like Jordan a lot, 6'11/7 foot guy, athletic, well built, looks like to have Dwight Howard kind of potential at best, and if they can develop him right, the Nets we'll look back into this draft and see that the Nets picked up a steal, I think Alexander will fit well also with the Nets, I don't get why their looking at a PG though? They just acquired Harris, and still have Williams as well...and my brothers a Nets fan, so I saw like almost ever game last year, lol

I see why you say that, you think he's going to be a bust right? Lol. And I didn't even know Singletary entered the draft, he seems like he can be a Ronaldo Balkman type though

I was never impressed by Jordan, even coming out of high school. He should have stayed at A&M for one more year to develop his offensive game more completely, because he's ridiculously raw right now.

So, I would prefer the Nets to stay far away from him. He's definitely a gamble and could be very good if developed and taught properly, but I'd prefer the nets take more of a "sure thing" type of pick at #10.

I would absolutely LOVE it if the Knicks drafted Deandre Jordan, it would ensure that the Nets remained dominant in the rivalry for the next 5 years at least.

The Knicks should grab Jordan at #6! If Isaish was there that wouldn't be too crazy a concept. I don't think Walsh is that stupid.
