<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>North Carolina sophomore Wayne Ellington and junior Danny Green will withdraw from the NBA draft Monday, while the Tar Heels were awaiting official word on whether sophomore point Ty Lawson would join them, too.

A UNC official confirmed that Ellington and Green would return to school but that it was unclear if Lawson was returning. The deadline to withdraw is 5 p.m. ET.

Ellington and Green were unable to secure a first-round draft pick guarantee. Their return, coupled with player of the year Tyler Hansbrough's return, makes UNC the prohibitive favorite to win the 2009 national title.

Ellington, Green and Lawson all participated in the Orlando pre-draft camp last month.</div>

    Notes:

-Budinger out is a bit surprising. Can't see him upping his stock too much next season but who knows what he was hearing from NBA scouts.

-Ryan Anderson coming in is interesting, especially form e as a Cal fan. Too bad I couldn't see him play under Monty.

    - Luc Richard Mbah a Moute staying in, I don't even know if this guy will get drafted yet he wants to stay in? This is gonna hurt UCLA with him and Love gone but they have a good class coming in so they'll be back up there in a year or two. I wonder if NBA scouts are liking what they're seeing from him? Maybe a second round flier defensive specialist type of player.

    - I'm a bit disappointed to see Pargo go back to Gonzaga. Great for Gonzaga and the WCC but IMO he was being slept on as a draft prospect. He'd be a decent second round pick and IMO has a shot at being a nice career reserve scoring specialist type. Nice athlete, gets to the paint well, shooting is decent, clutch, and steps up big time. Gonna be fun to watch him Daye, Heytvelt, etc. next season though.

    According to FoxSports

"The Tar Heels trio of Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Danny Green are all headed back to Chapel Hill, according to multiple sources close to the situation.
"They are all going back to school," one source said. "None of them were 100 percent sure they would be taken in the first round." "
