<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>New York (No. 6) and Portland (No. 13) are believed to be among the teams that would be willing to trade down or out of the first round.
The Suns are also exploring the idea of acquiring a second first-round choice. Doing so might cost them Leandro Barbosa or Boris Diaw.

"If we could capitalize on (the depth of the draft) and get more than one (first-round pick), we would," David Griffin said. "If that's below us or above us, either way that's fine. It's just a potentially good opportunity to fill a few needs and address our need for youth."</div>

Trading away Barbosa for anyone in this draft would be a huge mistake. He's far better than most players outside of the top 5...they should really think before they do something as ridiculous sounding as this.

What you see right now in Barbosa, is what he will ever be. If they can get any type of pick, I'll be all for it, along with someone who can be more useful. Like the Portland rumor going around (13th/Webster/filler). Which is much more than I thought they could get. I'm just tired of his streaky shooting and disappearances and struggles against good defensive teams. Which nullifies him, because he gives the team almost nothing on defense.

And no, Hawks pick is not enough after the stupid trades over the yr's, which cost the team picks in the future.
