Events scheduled for the weekend include physicals, drill sessions and scrimmages. The participants will consist of players from the NBA Development League and international teams.

Last season, the Raptors signed forward Jamario Moon following a similar free agent camp. He started in 75 games during his rookie season in Toronto, averaging 8.5 points and 6.2 rebounds. James White has a good chance to be the next Jamario Moon, at least in terms of leaping ability.

Darryl Watkins is going to own.

He's just the big man they need - good defensively, with shot blocking skills, rebounding skills, and he can dunk!

    I hope he does well.

I'm a big Dijon Thompson fan. I LOVED what he could do at UCLA and don't see why that couldn't translate into the NBA. Watch this kid.

How about looking for the next Michael Jordan instead?

    Sheesh.

I like Moon but he is a role player. How about finding a potential star, like we did with Calderon? Most of these guys have been cast out of the NBA two or three times already.

They should make this assortment of retreads into an expansion team.

They could be the new Sonics!

I don't want another Moon, but I assume they mean a "diamond in the rough" type of player. I want a guy who as a great all around offense, but most importantly, plays great defense. If it's something the Raptors lack, it's a very good defender. AP is our best, but we need another quality guy. I saw we go for Bowen, but he won't want to leave.
