Well, you guys have been in our forum the entire series, so I figured I would just come here for once Anyways, congradulations on the championship. You guys obviously deserved it. Not only were you the better team, but from the looks of it, you guys definitely wanted it more. I want to give Paul Pierce some props for sticking with his team, even when things looked extremely bleak. Now, his patience has paid off. Props to Ray Allen for finding his game again, after struggling earlier on in the playoffs. I want to wish his daughter the best of luck as well, although I'm sure she will end up just fine. Kevin Garnett finally got the championship he has been waiting for, all those seasons he struggled in Minnesota, he has always stayed loyal with the Timberwolves, and I'm glad he finally got his ring (although his celebration after the game was kind of wild ). Anyways, congradulations for all the TRUE Celtic fans. I'm sure you guys will be out partying, and celebrating your victory. Also, most of the Celtic fans have shown a lot of class throughout the series. Thank you. Stay classy, and enjoy your trophy And also, when we meet in the Finals again next year, things will be different. Trust me
Thanks, Brian! It's been a such a great ride, even if a little tough at times. Hopefully we meet again next year in the Finals and maybe you guys have a real sidekick in Bynum to Kobe. I can't wait, but I think I will be able to for the next week or so. GO CELTICS!
Classy thread there Brian. The Lakers have a good future. Farmar has a lot of potential imo, he was probably the Laker that had the best success at attacking the rim, and can hit the 3. Pretty much all the Lakers are young and are bound to come back just as strong, or improve. Except for Fisher. AND If Bynum returns healthy, the Lakers will have a different looking team. Bynum was a force down low hitting an impressive 64%, and providing excellent interior D.
Thanks Brian, classy. I'm in tears right now. I"M SO HAPPY! The first championship by the Celtics in my lifetime. THANK YOU CELTICS
Thank you so much Brian and Dynasty. Don't know what to say right now, so I'll just enjoy it for a little bit more.
In my lifetime as well playaofthegame. haha LETS GO CELTICS!!!!!!!!!! UBUNTU!!!!!!!! And yeah, well meet next year again.

He seemed to attack well towards the end of the Boston series but he's hardly someone I'm excited about.
I want a rematch next year. It's something you'd hear out of the losing fan but I want a rematch with Bynum, with Rondo taking the next step, with both teams healthy
Getting to watch your team play like this on the grand stage must have been a real treat. It's good that after such a terrible season last year, you guys got to see something good this year. Most of the Celtics fans I know are pretty good fans to talk to about basketball, so I'm happy for them.
What a game. I'm so happy KG had a great game and got his ring. . And Ray Allen, Pierce, Doc Rivers, etc. They all deserved it. Talk about a classy organization.
I just want to clarify something. I am happy for you loyal Boston fans. It isn't your fault you like a team I don't, and you all deserve respect and seem generally intelligent. As for the players themselves, I don't care about them. I don't even tangentially know them the way an online board can give one a gist for another person. I am not happy for Pierce, KG, or anyone on that roster, I still don't root for them or plan to. They mean nothing to me, and did not impress me on an individual basis (they were a team though, so props to that). I am moreso sad about my team, though I've had the fortune of being lucky in other sports... If there weren't any Celtic fans here (improbable of course), I wouldn't have said anything. But I know some real cool Boston people so I don't want to be a hater. Enjoy this people, you were right. I'm just being real by the way.
Hats off to the Celtics, I underestimated them going into the finals, but they sure proved me wrong. But you guys should win while you can until Bynum comes back. Any chance that LakerBlood changes his name back to CelticBlood?
