LOL, trade rumors are already swirling.

According to someone with a source over at clublakers.com, the Lakers and Bucks are talking:

Lamar Odom, Chris Mihm for Michael Redd and a first rounder.

LOL, why on God's earth would Milwaukee even think about this offer, unless they really wanted $14 million to come off the books?

    Fisher/Farmar
    Redd/Sasha
    Kobe/Ariza
    Gasol/Turiaf
Bynum/Brown (I've got a feeling we're going to sign him this summer--him and Kobe are boys, and Phil loves the kid).

LOL, delusional Laker fans are at it again, I think. Milwaukee would be stupid to make this trade.

and i thought Toronto's idea to get Redd were bad, this deal makes -17% sense for Milwaukee, but its helps you guys, kinda

I don't know about Redd, personally I think he's overrated, and he's way overpayed, but hey, it's not my money. Michael Redd alone doesn't attract me since he's a volume shooter and he plays no defense, but we could get someone good with the 8th pick, or use it as a package to get a solid veteran

hmmm.... i really dunno about this trade. i rather wanna have a player who is focused on D. On the offensive end we have enough weapons imo.

I wouldn't do it, if I were the Lakers. Look at that contract!

Money doesn't concern me because we're already over the cap limit. I don't have to pay for Redd, the money will come from Dr. Buss's pocket

Anyways, Redd doesn't really fill any of our needs. He doesn't play defense, so if we go up against the Celtics again next year, Pierce will continue to eat us alive. The only attractive piece to this trade is the 8th pick, but then again, I don't really want us spending time developing a rookie. I'd much rather do a Lamar Odom for Mike Miller swap, if that's possible

Garbajosa is going back to Europe. His knees are supposedly destroyed pretty bad as well

but Dr Buss cares, and that means less money to distribute amongst roll players and the big three (Gasol-Bynum-Kobe), which wil lthen concern you.

But the big problem with this rumor? We kind of already have a pretty good SG, and I'm not talking about Sasha

nMg, do you think Phil could be planning on moving Kobe to the three? Fish, Redd, Kobe, Gasol, Bynum.

Michael Redd no thanks. The last thing the team needs is another perimeter scorer to take field goal attempts away from Bynum and Gasol.

nope. Kobe lost that weight to extend his career. I dont think they would ask him to put it back on

Can we ship Radmonovic out somehow, please? He is just a walking disaster. He can't pass, can't shoot, can't defend. We signed him for his 3-point prowess, yet he only makes them every once in a blue moon. I swear, everytime the guy touched the ball during the Finals, he somehow found a way to give it right back to Boston. I hear a lot of people saying Luke's the worst player on the team, but I disagree. Luke's got nothing on Vladimir Radmonovic. SHIP HIS ASS OUT

Have to admit, my off-season won't be so bad. I'll see Team USA kick the living crap out of everyone, then I get to watch my Colts again who I've been following forever (along with LA). I think LA will be just fine in the future though. I'll leave my personal life out of this, I was just referring to sports. :]

Luke Walton is THE WORST player on the team. I wouldn't mind trading him and Vlad Rad, as long as we get a SOLID backup SF, supposing Ariza is officially Kobe's back up. I also wouldn't mind getting rid of Farmar if we get a promising young player for him. I know DFish isn't going anywhere, but he pissed me off SO much during the finals, it would be nice to get a PG who plays defense the right way (not with his hands). I wouldn't mind an LO+Farmar for Iggi+Andre Miller swap.

The only players id trade for Lamar Odom are Ron Artest and Mike Miller. Any of those guys would be a good fit just as long as both Gasol and Bynum stay healthy.

Mike Miller could be our own Ray Allen in the playoffs. Knocking down daggers.

Is there any chance we can get Javaris back?

Latest rumor is LO to NJ for Richard Jefferson. GREAT counter to Paul Pierce, but maybe no the BEST.

Best counter to Paul Pierce probably would be Shane Battier. If we do get Battier, however, we will lose the rebounding that we got from LO, so we would absolutely NEED a Varejao-type of player. (As you can tell, I'm REALLY pushing for the Lakers to trade Vlad Rad for Varejao)

Memphis won't be trading with us for a while after that robbery of Pau Gasol. So forget about Mike Miller, although I would LOVE to get Crittenton back, even if it costs us Farmar.

I doubt Ron Artest comes to LA. EVERY YEAR his name comes up, and this summer is no different. But, he said there's a 99% chance he's staying in Sacramento.

Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind a trade of LO+Farmar to Philly for Iguodala+Andre Miller+2nd Rounder. Iggi has the pressure off of him to be a scorer, and can focus on defense, and Derek Fisher just PISSED ME OFF in the Finals, more than anybody else. This way, Miller and Fish can split the minutes, and we can release Andre into FA during the 2009-10 campaign allowing Crittenton to blossom as our backup PG.

Also, expect AK47 talks to arise this summer............AGAIN...........

Battier is one of the absolutely best deals in the NBA right now. He makes less than $7M per season and is a legitimate DPOY candidate who can shoot. If the Houston GM knows what he's doing, there's NO way he trades Battier - unless it's for a star. Houston doesn't have truly "bad" contracts either. So the only way Battier leaves Houston is if someone offers them a star. Lamar Odom is not a star.

I will call you crazy. There's absolutely no way Philadelphia trades their franchise player and one of the better PGs for a perennial softy loser (Odom) and an ok PG. The other thing is that the team that's taking Odom is probably taking him as an expiring contract, not as a player. Philadelphia is GREATLY under cap. It makes no sense for them to trade their best player for another expiring contract at this point in time.
