<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Michigan Live)</div><div class='quotemain'>Rumors are swirling that the Pistons have promised Kansas State forward Bill Walker that they will select him if he's still available with the twenty-ninth overall pick, according to Michigan Live.

Walker injured his knee earlier this week but opted to stay in the draft, which has added to the speculation.</div>

Interesting. That'd be quite a reach for Detroit - there's no guarantee he'll recover from his injuries. I'd be surprised if it weren't DJ White - he'd be a solid guy to pick up with the 29th pick.

I don't know why they would take him at 29. Is he rising on the draft boards or something? I'm pretty sure they could trade down if they really wanted him.

I wouldn't mind the pick, so long as he can stay healthy, and provide us with an effective option off the bench. Wasn't he projected to be like a top 10 pick a couple of seasons back?

I also wouldn't mind Devon Hardin if available.
