Draft Express newest mock has a lot of movement...although the Nets stay with Gallinari at #10 as well as Marreese Speights at #21 and Jamont Gordon of Miss. State at #40. Nets havent worked out Gordon. Alexis Ajinca of France has moved ahead of Speights, McGee and Jordan, all the way up to #13. Ryan Anderson of Cal is moving up, now at #26, Jason Thompson of Rider at #28. Courtney Lee has moved ahead of CDR. He's in Monday. Andy Katz on ESPN said the same thing about Thompson, that he is moving up fast, as is Russell Westbrook. In fact Katz said Thompson could go to the Warriors at #19. McGee and Jordan falling in his estimation as well. Katz also said something fascinating...that Joe Alexander, who speaks fluent Mandarin having grown up in China, wants to play with Milwaukee so he can team with Yi Jianlian (and make a TON of money on Chinese endorsement deals!) http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2008/
richard hendrix moving up as well. Some people think that he is similar to Millsap (who also went in the second round because he was undersized at the 4).
I read something in ESPN the Mag where it says Lee was a better shooter in workouts than CDR, and either better than or equal to Rush. Lee really intrigues me. I would be pretty content if we ended up drafting him.

The way he was consistently scoring in the biggest games of this season show me that he is NBA ready. His body certainly is and I think he has the skill set to thrive. If we let him fall to the Hornets, we will look so dumb. Go big with #10 and then get CDR at 21. Shan Foster at 40 for bench and shooting purposes.
D'Alessandro said as of Friday, CDR had the best workout of any player who the Nets brought in. I cannot see the Nets taking Gallinari at #10 and then another shooter at #21, not if any of the raw bigs--Ajinca, Jordan, Greene, McGee, Lopez--are still available. Of course Robin Lopez makes no sense at #10, but he makes a lot of sense at #15, which is where the Nets might pick if the rumored RJ for Diaw and Barbosa deal goes through.
I think/know CDR will have a better NBA career than the majority of players picked between 8-20. Most of the time you dont know who the diamond in the rough will be (Michael Redd). CDR is an NBA player and the fact that hes projected so low is a joke. If we pass on him its a big mistake.

You bastards better make a draft thread on Thursday, and key it updated with reactions for my viewing pleasure.

Go Hickson! I get the point trading down but why lose Jefferson in the process? I thought the more talented player meant trading up.
