Apparently, Dwyane Wade to Chicago rumors are alive and well. The latest rumor would send Tyrus Thomas+Larry Hughes+1st overall pick to Miami for Dwyane Wade. Personally, if I were Miami, I'd go for it, but try to avoid Larry Hughes. Go for Kirk Hinrich instead. PG Kirk Hinrich SG Derrick Rose SF Shawn Marion PF Michael Beasley C Zo 6th Man: Tyrus Thomas I'd try and trade Shawn Marion to LA for Odom and Mihm, just another big body. Also, who's going to play center??? 15-20 is all Zo can play this moment in his career IMO....

All kinds of thoughts on this one... The deal works under the CBA. They have Haslem, too. It'd be a slam dunk if they got Noah instead of Thomas. Wade seems to be good for 50 games a season, not all 82, so it's a pretty big gamble on the Bulls' part. Rose+Hinrich is a pretty small back court. Say goodbye to Ben Gordon.
Now that I think about it... I like the Bulls drafting Rose and then trading Hinrich and Thomas to Miami for Marion. Bulls: Rose, Hughes backcourt Gooden, Deng, Marion up front Gordon, Thabo, Nononocioni, Noah bench Miami: Hinrich, Wade backcourt Beasley, Thomas, Haslim up front white chocolate, zo, ??? bench
Heat won't take Hinrich. They want Hughes. They are trying to make capspace in 2010, so Hughes fits perfectly into their plan. I'd rather just take Beasley and call it a day, and then begin negotiating trades using Hinrich, Sefolosha, Nocioni, Gooden, Thomas, Noah, and Hughes as the peices once Hinrich and Nocioni's BYC status is gone. This is a tempting trade. Wade is really really good, and is about as ideal of a backcourt mate as you could have for Gordon. Wade-Gordon-Deng, no one is going to have a better 1-2-3 combo in the league...but it could easily deteriorate into Duhon-Gordon-Deng over the course of the season. I think I'd pass on Wade given that he's been missing like on average 25 games a season. I think it'll be easier to build around Gordon-Deng-Beasley than Wade-Gordon-Deng. A lot harder to get two good big men.
Zo recently said he was going to try and come back for one more season. Riley must have made him an offer he couldn't refuse
The Heat waived Alexander Johnson today. This indicates the Heat are making a trade, and they had to clear some roster space to take in the new players.
PG: LeBron SG: Dwyane SF: Gordon (he'll grow a few inches because he reads the bible) PF: <strike> Tim Duncan </strike> Aaron Gray C: Tyson Chandler.
As great as Wade is, I'll say no thanks to this move. He's good for about 2/3 of a season, than it's a crapshoot after that. I'll take the top pick personally.
