<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Plain Dealer)</div><div class='quotemain'>The Cavaliers could look to send Anderson Varejao and Wally Szczerbiak to the Bucks for sharpshooter Michael Redd, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Cleveland is looking for a legitimate scorer to pair alongside LeBron James, and they would be able to provide Milwaukee with Szczerbiak's expiring contract and the chance to lock Varejao up with an extension.

If the Bucks aren't interested, the Cavs could try to swing a similar deal with the Warriors or Clippers for Baron Davis or Elton Brand.</div>

It would be a great move if the Cavs could acquire one of those guys just for Wally and Andy. The Cavs have little need for expiring contracts right now as they're well over the cap, so they need only look at the quality of players, so any of these trades is a steal.

Varejao/Sczerbiak wouldn't be enough to land Baron or Brand. It would only land Redd because Milwaukee just wants to dump him because no one else will take him and hes done nothing to help them win. Baron and Brand are actually valued by their teams and there would be a lot of teams lining up to beat out an offer of Szcerbiak/Varejao.

The most possible trade would be for Redd... Damn, this trade would be up there with the Gasol and Marion trade. LOL
Cleveland would be a force in the East especially now that LBJ has some help.

If this happens, the Lakers should swing a deal for Artest LOL

Skiles is now the coach of Milwaukee. Varajao is his kind of player. Redd is not. He's probably convinced management that the way to go is to rebuild following Chicago's blueprint. Szerbiak isn't Skiles' kind of player either, but his expiring contract fits the rebuilding model.
