I'm beyond caring about what Shaq said. He threw out a bunch of cheap shots there, but that's what freestyling is. If Kobe wants to take it personally, take it out on him and Phoenix next year.

Speaking of the Shaq and Kobe feud - you think ABC shows Lakers vs Phoenix again this year on Christmas?

If they could they would want to show a 3-way between the Lakers, Phoenix, and Boston :]

15 guys on the court...3 baskets....lets do it [IMG]

    (I'm obviously joking :])

    A little OT.

Imagine if Shaq knocked on your door and asked to use your bathroom...

Does he even fit on a normal sized toilet, or in a smallish guest bathroom?

His status in the NBA is washed up...He lost his wife, who's the mother of like all 5 or however many kids he has.

He kinda lost everything that was going for him.

I kinda feel bad for him now, it's obvious he's putting on a real big front right now.</div>

Shaq has more kids, lol.....I know he's got some here in Houston....I think that's why he has a house in the suburb I stay in, hahaha.....Shaq's always had an ego so this is nothing new...

I don't really care about all this, and it shouldn't really surprise me, because after all, this is Shaq we're talking about, and he's a jackass. He throws his former teamates off the bus all the time. The only reason why I'm remotely shocked is because he supposedly "made up" with Kobe this season, obviously he still hasn't. Kobe has already put this behind him, but the 36 year old Shaq obviously hasn't. Somebody needs to grow up

I can't believe he took a jab at Ewing and Kareem.

Them 4 rings that he has doesn't change the fact that he paid for his wife's trainer to **** her!

"I'm a horse. Kobe ratted me out. That's why I'm getting divorced. He said Shaq gave a bitch a mil. I don't do that 'cause my name's Shaquille. I love 'em, I don't leave 'em. I got a vasectomy, now I can't breed 'em."

    Shaq had a vasectomy?

I remember Hakeem playing against Shaq, and he looked tiny next to him doing all his post moves trying to get a shot off. What made Hakeem so great was his ability to block a shot at one end and finish with the dunk on the fast break at the other. When matched against guys his size or smaller, he was quite awesome on the block, too.

Ewing was tough for most centers, because he'd go 15' out on the baseline and drain shots. Guys like Shaq didn't like to follow him around everywhere.

I can predict the future way better than you. First off that will never happen. Secondly, Dikembe Mutombo is going to be traded to the Bobcats and will lead them to 8 straight titles and retire as the #1 shot blocker in league history and be considered better than Shaq and Kobe. .... Everyone knows that is what is gonna happen.

Does anybody think the Lakers would have won if Shaq was playing instead of Gasol? Just curious..

No, I'd say he's sarcastic. I don't really think you can argue that.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Does anybody think the Lakers would have won if Shaq was playing instead of Gasol? Just curious..</div>

I do. You've got to have an amazing team to win a title with Gasol on the roster. He's a bit of an enigma that way. He's one of the top 30 or so players in the league from a talent perspective, but he's not a great player to have for your team's chemistry. No defense, no heart, and too many negative emotions = no title.

BTW - I love how everyone else is just figuring out that it's hard to win with Gasol. I was searching through archives the other day and found a post I made in early May of '05 about him -

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>While Pau Gasol may be the Grizzlies' leading scorer, I've been counting the days 'till his departure since he was drafted. He's a great player, but I don't want him as Memphis' <u>franchise</u> player. He's too weak, plays no defense, has no shot, isn't aggressive enough, and is always complaining. If we could pull in a guy like Gilbert Arenas or Rashard Lewis (just throwing random All-Star names out there), then I say go ahead and do it.</div>

It's sort of like when Leon Powe had that great game in the finals and everyone was all over his nuts, acting like nobody knew where he came from, with sites like ESPN writing article after article about how Powe was such an unknown beforehand. I guarantee you most of this board knew all about Powe though. It's frustrating.
