<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>With two days to go, not everyone is sure this draft is as deep as advertised…or if the top two picks are the real deal. Howard Beck in the Times and Chad Ford on ESPN quote NBA executives saying some of the picks, like Russell Westbrook, Alexis Ajinca, and Robin Lopez, are way overrated. Beck quotes one exec saying Michael Beasley is the real deal, not Derrick Rose. Ford’s source says the opposite.</div> After Rose and Beasley, Plenty of Questions to Choose From - Howard Beck - New York Times Draft Notes - Chad Ford - ESPN I could agree with that. They may be overrated a bit, but you never know - I'm sure there are a lot of solid players from previous drafts were deemed "overrated", too. Of course, I still believe both the Lopez twins are overrated...
Completely agree on Westbrook and have been saying that for awhile. Looking at his numbers they are terrible for a top 10 guy. Don't tell Kid Chocolate or Cpaw though, they're in love with him. Nets would be much better off with Arthur, I hope it does work out like Simmons and Ford had it, but of course, it won't. Check out where Westbrook rates among guards according to Hollinger (hint: it's not pretty): http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft2008/i...aftRater-080622

I'm not a fan of him being a lottery pick
