The Bobcats have traded for the Nuggets 20th pick. Rumour is that Denver had their sights set on Lawson and when he dropped out, they were less committed to keeping that pick.
At first I was open to the idea of DeAndre Jordan..but the more I read about him, the more I hope Philly doesn't actually take him. I'd rather have Speights or Ajinca.

Could you guys go with a guard (either a point to eventually replace Miller or a 2-guard)?
btw, the amount of trades lately has been awesome. Every since last trade deadline, the NBA's been so interesting at the management level. - Hornets trade their pick to the Blazers - Raptors trade their pick to the Pacers, in a deal that involves Jermaine O'Neal, TJ Ford, Rasho Nesterovic - Nuggets trade their pick to the Bobcats - Bucks trade Yi and Simmons to the Nets for Richard Jefferson * - Sonics and Clippers swap picks * The draft itself should only be better. (* - I'm still waiting for legitimate confirmation)
If you haven't already noticed, we're running a Draft Prediction game (link). TheBeef will be locking it up as soon as the draft starts, so if you're interested hurry up and put them in before that.

Thad doesn't really have the bulk to be a true 4, he'll more likely be our starting 3 next season. Reggie Evans is great to have in there for defense and rebounding, but seriously lacking in an offensive skillset. And the verdict on Jason Smith is still up in the air. But, If somebody like Brandon Rush does in fact slip to 16, we'll likely take him..and just deal with the logjam later. Best case scenario: C- Dalembert PF- Draft pick/FA SF- Thad SG- Iggy PG- Miller

Nah haha, pegs is right. I meant for next season. Because no Sixer fan wants Willie Green to get starter minutes again.
I'm seeing, but not confirmed, that Clippers #7 and Seattle #4 swap picks, with a conditional #1 going to Seattle next season.
I am sneaking out of work early for this. I think there are going to be a lot of big moves tonight. I will be shocked of Miami doesn't do some sort of trade.
Let it begin, everyone. The LIVE portion is now open, so keep this topic fresh and active. In other words, chat away!
Bucks - Nets trade Yi Lianjian Bobby Simmons for Richard Jefferson Wow. source: ESPN Smells like the Bucks will go for a point guard or another power forward. I bet Love is the Bucks pick if he's not picked up by then.
