Uhhhh.....isn't DJ White at 29 a bit of a reach? I looked at him as a solid second round pick, but not a first rounder. I think he's going to be a beast on the boards in the NBA, but I don't foresee him doing much on offense. Though, I don't really know where he fits. Maxiell plays the same position as him, so getting PT might be a little difficult.

We've heard of DeAndre and so have 30 NBA teams. But this draft has been kinda weird. I mean, CDR could drop to the 30th pick is Boston doesn't take him. I think Boston should take DeAndre or DeVon Hardin. However, CDR would be a very nice pick. I mean, you win an NBA championship and you get a very athletic SF who can only get better, for the future.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (o.iatlhawksfan @ Jun 26 2008, 09:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>You guyz remember a dude name DeAndre Jordan</div> The issue with him is the fact that he's a huge project. Whoever drafts him is going to have to be really patient with him, which is why I think he's slipped so far. He's not going to produce for at least a couple years, and looks like he could have bust written all over him. That being said, a team like the Celtics might benefit from drafting him. They have all sorts of pieces in place where they wouldn't need him to produce, giving him an opportunity to grow as a player before he gets thrown in the fire.
http://sportstwo.com/NBA/Story/NBA/2515932 Arthur waits it out, nabbed by Hornets at No. 27 Thursday, June 26, 2008 10:24 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) - After a long wait, Darrell Arthur will be on the move. Selecting for the Portland Trail Blazers after Wednesday's reported trade, the New Orleans Hornets grabbed Kansas forward Arthur with the 27th selection in Thursday's NBA draft. Arthur, who was a member of the national champion Kansas Jayhawks, was the last player to exit the green room, which was full of the top players who were invited this event at MSG. When his name was called, Arthur's mother - who quit her job to travel with him through his career - burst into tears as the crowd and commissioner David Stern gave him a standing ovation. But Arthur, who reportedly was passed on by teams because of a rumored kidney condition, will not be with the Hornets for long. Wednesday's report from ESPN said that the the deal between Portland and New Orleans was agreed to verbally on Tuesday night but had to be officially approved by the league. Despite health concerns, Arthur certainly can play. He has a soft touch around the hoop and can score with his back to the basket

I've been watching the Slovenian for years now and he's a great second round pick up. He could end up being a big steal.
What happens if a team wants a certain pick, but the team picking for them does something else. Like, lets say the Raptors picked CDR and the Pacers wanted Hibbert, what happens?
What about Bill Walker? Should Boston take a chance on him, seeing as how he used to be mentioned in the same breath as OJ Mayo way back then before his injury?
Quickly here, this pick has to be CDR in my opinion. Even though Jordan is a nice prospect, CDR is a guy who can come in and produce for them immediately, and give them someone who can spell Ray Allen.

I think the Nets might very well go Eurostash. The flip outs will be fun to watch. You can also sub Bill Walker in for CDR.
