Gotta admit, this pick surprises me. However, Giddens is a hell of a good prospect. He's got all sorts of talent and could be a very good player. However, with CDR on the table, I don't see why you don't pick him. He's a player that can come in and help immediately and give Ray Allen an opportunity to play a little less and keep his legs more fresh. Oh well, I think Giddens is going to be good, though I still think the right pick was CDR.

I've been watching the Slovenian for years now and he's a great second round pick up. He could end up being a big steal. </div> I was just kind of observing. I think the Nets might very well go Eurostash. The flip outs will be fun to watch. You can also sub Bill Walker in for CDR. </div> No, the Nets are gonna pick another big man. Cause ya know, that's what we should do.

Did DeAndre Jordan hire an agent, and if he didn't, can he return to school if he goes undrafted? Or has the Randolph Morris loophole been closed?

http://sportstwo.com/NBA/Story/NBA/2515962 Grizzlies go big again with 28th pick Greene Thursday, June 26, 2008 10:28 PM NEW YORK (Ticker) - The Memphis Grizzlies hit the daily-double Thursday night. The Grizzlies continued to upgrade their frontcourt by selecting Syracuse's Donte Greene with the No. 28 pick in the NBA draft. In dire need of some quality size inside following the midseason trade of Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers, the 6-11 Greene joins the team's No. 5 pick, UCLA's Kevin Love, to bolster the team's inside game. While both Greene and Love are freshmen, they likely will be counted on heavily, since Memphis' other big men are underachieving former lottery picks Kwame Brown and Darko Milicic. Greene led the Orange in scoring during his only season, posting 17.7 points and 7.2 rebounds in nearly 36.0 minutes per contest. Long and athletic, Greene loves shooting from the outside, making 35 percent of his 3-pointers while attempting 7.5 per game. He scored at least 20 points 14 times, including a career-high 27 in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament against Robert Morris on March 18.

Ok everyone, only the start of the second round and we've already beaten the amount of discussion in last year's 2007 NBA Draft Live thread. Let's keep this going!
