    I agree there entirely.

    I don't really think this was too much of a reach. They're getting a lottery type talent in the 2nd round. Not bad if you ask me.
    </div>

    Again, it's not a risk talent wise, just because of his commitment to Panathinaikos and the chance that he'll never want to play for the Wolves. Talent wise, he's a definite steal.
    </div>
    Like I said, I understand where you come from here. But, it's the 2nd round, there's nothing wrong with taking risks in the 2nd round. Especially when you take the risk on a player with as much talent as him. If he comes over, than it's a huge steal, if not, not really a huge loss.

    Well, I'm really hoping to see CDR, Walker or Jordan drop to Chicago, and things are starting to look kind of promising for that.

    CDR for sure, maybe Jordan, but I'd like to see us take a risk with Ömer Aşık if neither are available.

    Just wondering, but why are you so high on this kid? He's got talent, but he's a huge project and should have stayed in school for at least another year.

    Only problem I have there is that the Wolves are rebuilding, they should stock up on "sure things". Think, they could've had CDR on their team, with no risk whatsoever. But....they have the next pick.

    M, I don't think I'm going to create threads for 2nd round draft picks. If posters create them, I'll definitely link to them in the first page but that's about it.

    Love the Chalmers pick. He's got some work to do, but I think he can be a pretty solid player in the long run.

    Cause he's a low risk-high reward player who we can get for cheap.

    Yinka is out of the country right now, I think.

    Definitely hoping for CDR. However, I really like Bill Walker. If he hadn't been injured, I think he'd have been a first rounder, and if he stays next year, he's a definite first rounder in my opinion. He's got all sorts of potential, and I think it'd be very difficult to pass on him.

    As for Jordan, I love his talent, but he's so raw.

    And with CDR, I'd love him too. He's NBA ready and would potentially make Ben Gordon pretty expendable.

    I'm just going to create one for Nikola Peković and some other top talents. That's about it. Where are you getting the quick information for the threads that I can post it?

    Pistons grab interior help with White at No. 29
    Thursday, June 26, 2008 10:43 PM

    NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons hope D.J. White can revive history.

    With the 29th pick, the Pistons selected White, who is the first player they've taken from Indiana in the first round since Isiah Thomas in 1981.

    The second overall selection in that draft, Thomas led the Pistons to back-to-back championships in 1989-1990 and was one of the greatest players in the franchise's history. Detroit hopes White can help it get back to that level.

    The Pistons have reached the Eastern Conference semifinals in six straight seasons but have hoisted the championship trophy just once during that span.

    With forward Rasheed Wallace failing to come through against the Boston Celtics in last month's conference finals, Detroit grabbed White, who is a talented inside presence.

    The 6-8 White led the Big Ten Conference in rebounding at 10.3 per game and was second on the Hoosiers with 17.3 points per contest. White had 20 double-doubles during the season, including a string of 11 out of 12 games during the early stages of the campaign.

    While he has good footwork and can hit open mid-range shots, White will need to expand his range a little further. He solid athleticism and has long arms, which helps make up for his lack of size at power forward.
