Would you have done Hinrich or Hughes (Indy's choice) plus Thomas for Jermaine O'Neal?

I bet Indy would be all over a deal involving Ben Gordon, maybe that could have been done in spite of BYC issues due to O'Neal's contract being really big.

Any of those deals would be moronic for the Bulls

They're going to S&T Gordon anyway, or lose him for nothing.

O'Neal's contract is off the books for the infamous 2010 FA class.

If the Bulls draft Rose, they should do some sort of consolidation trade to ease the logjam at G, even though they're already going to let Duhon walk for nothing.

O'Neal fills a huge hole in our lineup, and us getting him prevents one of our competitors from getting a lot better.

YUCK to Jermaine O'Neal. He's not worth it, and if you ask me, the Raps certainly overpaid for him. While his agent has gone and said that he's healthy, I want to see him put together a health season - you know, 72+ games or so - before I'd ever contemplate trading for him. So, to say the least, his health issues scare the hell out of me and the only appealing thought on a trade for him is getting rid of that cancer named Larry Hughes.

Also, call me crazy, but I'm not ready to give up on Thomas yet. He's getting taller, hopefully adding some weight and muscle in the process. And, if we do get Rose, maybe he can transform Thomas' career the way Chris Paul transformed Tyson Chandlers, and in my opinion, Thomas is a much more talented player and has much more potential than Chandler.

Hmmm... IMO the raps didnt overpay for him since they were gonna trade one of their PG's (Ford or Calderon) anyway.

I think the Pacers wanted some cap relief, so it's probably have to be Gooden going out with Kirk or Hughes.

I kind of like that idea because we consolidate things a bit and because I expect JO to eventually be healthy again. Oh well.

Well actually, ford and JO are still on the board, because of BYC they have to wait to do the trade, but the draft pick still does to the pacers and another team can jump in on the trade

How about getting a better attitude and getting a little bit brighter instead of getting taller. Oh and working a little bit harder. That would be much better than another inch or 2.

I really do hope Tyrus comes around this season. If he doesn't this season, maybe he will the season before contract negotiations come up. Thats about the time that every NBA player peaks.

Maybe a few years ago, but 44 million over the next two years for a guy who plays less than half an NBA regular season. I will pass...
