SIMMONS makes me sick but who knows maybe he will play well...keep Simmons at SF and don't resign boki nachbar. Least Simmons plays D unlike Boki Yi is now our PF Man we got too many PF/C who are similiar
Was Scott Skiles the guy that pushed for Jefferson to the Bucks? I think it was a few years back when there was a rumour of Deng + Chandler for Jefferson when Skiles was coaching the Bulls which the Nets turned down. So Deng + Chandler or Yi + Simmons.

This is more than they could have expected. I think the only reason Milwaukee is making this deal is because Yi is so unhappy there.
Celtic Fan, I don't see VC going anywhere. Not sure if they want to let him go/his contract is too tough to deal. ..still, this RJ trade came as a total surprise. So who knows?

Something like 2pm today, no trades can be announced or something like that.
Yi will help Nets financially as well....the Brooklyn population in 2010 with hopefully LeBron oooooohweeeeeeeeee PG Devin Harris SG Vince Carter SF LeBron James PF Yi C Shaq (1 Year 6 million dollar contract) 6th - Danilo? Gordon?

I'm listening to 1050 over the internet, and they just confirmed that "Richard Jefferson has just been traded to Milwaukee . . . so Rod Thorn is stockpiling talent." They have no idea who are what the Nets are receiving in return, but are "working on it." "once we find out the specifics we will get back to you."

You may get 'sulky Vince' next year. but yeah, his salary may make it hard to move him and maybe he's matured and will take on the leadership role.
They just announced on WFAN. He said RJ was traded to Milwaukee and Mad Dog just stopped dead and his tracks and while he was giving the news report during the break and cut in.
To all those who cried "NO, we could have gotten so much more than that for RJ!" The word was out, both technically and in GM's minds: RJ was the most overrated player in the East. I think we did pretty well considering.
