I don't know the board's feelings on Vince, but I was kinda hoping that the Nets would move him. He's always hurt and when he isn't hurt, then he's PMSing or his uterus is bothering him. Too bad the Bucks wouldn't take him over RJ. That would have been a coup.
Nothing against Joe Alexander, I wouldn't be mad if we took him, but this stockpiling of assets makes the deal with Portland pretty nice right about now. We got our bigman and we can shore up backup pg and wing by selecting Brandon Rush.

Well, reading through this thread, I've come to the conclusion of BOOYAH! Should be a fun night tonight.

There's a lot of haters, especially in the media, who don't cover some players farily, but Carter's rep is well deserved IMO.

VC isnt done... nor does he cry... carter has been a mature and professional since hes been with the nets... nor has he missed significant amount of time since hes been a net.... this is thorn and kiki tellin carter that this is his team! so do ur what u can do to make it the best

Cap Space and a nice draft pick next summer is what's in the cards for the Nets. Carter's contract is probably the ugliest in the NBA. He's 31 or 32 and signed until he's 36. There's a nice core of at least 4 younger players to rebuild around, plus the three picks tonight. Not sure any of the picks are going to blossom into more than nice supporting players, tho. Next season is going to be ugly.
Let me add to my previous post. If the Nets aren't sold on Yi, he could be moved almost immediately, maybe for a chance to move up in the draft.

He's a great player who played on an ankle that required surgery immediately after the season ended. He still has that "soft" label, but look how many games he's missed since he became a Net.

Either we're good, we win more than we lose. OR we get to watch young players develop, and get better as the season progresses. I'm prepared, either way.

Not enough considering how muc he gets paid.
