<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The Houston Rockets added to their emerging bench after selecting Nicolas Batum with the 25th pick in Thursday's NBA draft at Madison Square Garden. The Rockets were buoyed by a collection of anonymous players on their bench, who propelled them to the second-longest winning streak in NBA history with All-Star center Yao Ming sidelined for the season. Houston was bounced out of the playoffs in the first round by the Utah Jazz for the second straight season. Batum, who averaged 19.0 points and 5.7 rebounds, earned Most Valuable Player honors as he led France to the Under-18 championship in 2006. He can run the floor and will finish around the rim, although he generally stays on the perimeter. The 6-8 Batum is very athletic and has good range, shooting over 50 percent from the field for his European club team last season. The 19-year-old is still young and will need to add weight to his thin frame. His position also may be question, as he has the height and length to play small forward but is athletic enough to play shooting guard.</div> I remember Rockets fans complained about trading Rudy Gay away a couple years ago. Now they get a similar sort of player at a great position. Thoughts?
You guys are lucky as hell to get this player at this position. Enjoy him down the road because he will be an amazing talent. You can read my analysis of him in the 2008 NBA Draft Live thread here. To help you all out here, his full name is pronounced [Nick-O-La Baa-Toom].
Amazing pick. Morey is so Money. He's going to be great and with a guy like T-Mac to help him out, he's in even better shape.
We traded Batum for Darrel Arthur and Joey Dorsey, then traded Arthur out to get Donte Green. So in the end we got Donte Green and Joey Dorsey.

Does this mean other moves are coming as well?
