I think they could use Krstic in a S+T or KVH or Swift combined with a future pick (2010 dallas maybe) or a young player or two.
Anyone know if RonRon opted out?

That's a good point, but can you imagine the havoc they would wreck on offenses with Hassell+Ron+Sean?

I don't get this thread at all, What would be the point of Elton Brand, first off Yi puts butts in the seats, draws intl. press coverage, more backers and sponsors, Yi in Japan is considered to soon be better than Yao Ming if you think he was playing 100 % in Milwaukee last season watch the difference this year in NJ and as soon as he gets into a big stage game.

The Nets aren't going to have anyone like Brand land in their laps.
I'm sure Thorn and Kiki are scouring the league for troubled talents at the 2/3.
I think Artest could be had cheap and certainly has tremendous upside.

Then you go out and get the best locker room guy veteran PG you can get and hope it pans out.
Who that vet PG would be, will need to think on it a bit.

I dunno if having ppl in the seats is all that important. I like Yi and all but if an opportunity to grab Brand came along, I don't think we should pass that up.

I've always liked Jason Hart's game. He's getting very little PT in Utah and the Jazz should be open to moving him.

The Nets are rebuilding. I think its time to start accepting that. Read what Kiki had to say last night. They are acquiring young talent, not trading for older players like Brand.

My hope now is that they get some decent value for Carter.

who said he's soft? he's not Yao. He will throw it down on you without feeling bad about it. My dad tells me he is very soft on defense though (at least when he's playing for China anyway).

I liked this reel, it was nice. Thanks for posting it.

What I got from that: Yi can shoot really good, and he can get out on the break. I like that.
