Haha, can't argue with you there.

Although, that just might be my Parker hatorade taking.

    no no way this season.

we have 2 sign and trades with Boki and Diop, KVH contract, TE's. really it's enough to finish this team's makeover for the year, Carter is an asset at this point.

I tend to agree, i really don't see us trading Carter. As much as we want to clear space and get more youth/picks, the Nets still need a guy like Vince. He's going to help these young guys grow and take alot of pressure of Harris in what may end up being be a brutal year. Without a good vet like vince, who is a good charecter guy, the Nets would be a bunch of kids running around in every direction and not really growing. Vince, while i know many people have varying opinions, is a great teammate and makes others better. He will help their development.

If anything we trade Marcus Williams and Krstic in a package for a backup pg. Personally i'm sick of Marcus Williams. He's the worst defender i've ever seen, doesnt make any effort to get in better condition, and he's stoic on the court.

Honestly, i havent complained about Vince once since he came over to the Nets. He's been the only guy who holds his own on a nightly basis scoring wise and he hasn't missed games.

im glad you feel that way. im sad that vince still has the reputation of not caring, lazy, no heart, and misses tons of games. i told someone last night i was a carter fan and he went "ouuch.....really???? okay....".....these people dont even watch him. it bugs me.

The Nets were foolish for re-signing him in the first place.

Too bad Isiah isn't around to trade Marbury's expiring contract for Carter!

I wouldn't trade him to Cleveland just yet, since he could be the missing piece to a championship. If LeBron gets one ring in Cleveland, he will try to get another - and it won't be in New Jersey. I don't think it's that big of a deal though. The Nets should have plenty of cap room even with Vince still signed.

Im willing to sabotage this season for more assets. Most likely it would be expiring deals for Carter than young pieces, but I think if your going to rebuild do it the right way. What point is it to have Carter making 13 million on a 35-45 win team? Carter is likely to be done in 2-3 years anyway, thats a horrible fit with what this franchise is trying to do.

If people didnt show up when we were a title contender they arent showing up just bc Vince can dunk.

Or to the Clippers along with Hassel for Thomas, Mobley and Knight(15.5 million combined expiring in time for our savior)

Or in a 4 way deal where we get the souls of Adam Morrison and Raymond Felton and Bobby Jacksons expiring deal

Id be scared of trading him to the Cavs, that could make them a contender.
