So supposedly Charlotte was willing to give us Gerald "Crash" Wallace straight-up for TJ Ford. No picks. The article claims BC wanted a draft pick from Charlotte, an early 2nd, and that killed the deal. Wallace isn't a good shooter but he is a great defender and he would've provided good rebounding and an attacking mentality. http://www.charlotte.com/140/story/688312.html

Wallace would provide more balance. -Petey
He seems like a good fit but there are a few reasons why I think BC wasn't so hot on this deal: -- plays about 64 games a season due to reckless style; -- not a good shooter; -- owed $50-million over the next five years; -- mediocre ball handling skills
he wouldev been an amazing addition to the raptors, HE HAS DA HARDCORE style raps need. He wouldev also thought Moon how to attack the basket.
If his contract wasnt so damn long I probably would of liked the Wallace offer but if the guy doesnt work out we have another 5 years to go instead of 2.
JO - past allstar and still only 30 Wallace - arm bout to fall off, hurt a fair amount as well i'll take JO 9/10, 1/10 being if we a 2nd rounder to get Jawai also 2 years for raptors>5 years
