At SF we've got Bobby Simmons, Boki Nachbar, Yi Jianlian At PF there's Sean Williams, Josh Boone, Nenad Krstic At C there's Diop and Brook Lopez Don't forget "tweener" Ryan Anderson What's your depth chart look like? Personally I see Diop not getting resigned, Krstic getting the qualifying offer (QO), and Boki being let go. Then I see two possibilities: Devin Harris/Marcus Chris Douglas-Roberts/Ager Vince Carter/Yi/Simmons/Hassel Nenad Krstic/Sean Williams/Anderson Josh Boone/Lopez Or Devin Harris/Marcus Vince Carter/CDR/Ager Yi/Simmons/Hassel/Anderson Nenad/Sean Boone/Lopez (It's also acceptable to say "Thronikipedia isn't done yet")
Harris Carter Simmons Yi Boone I think. Maybe. I dunno. We're not done re-shaping the roster, so it's really a moot point right now.
Boki is GONE. Take him off the list. And they have a guy to fill his role (Ryan Anderson) who will probably fill it much better and do if for cheap for at least 4 years.
The definites are Harris, Carter, and Boone. If Krstic is still here, either he or Yi will claim the 4th starting slot. The wing position vacated by RJ could be filled by a FA (Maurice Evans, James Jones, Mikael Pietrus), by someone the Nets acquire in trade, or by Simmons.
PG: Devin Harris 32mins, Marcus Williams (16 mins) SG: Vince Carter (34 mins), Chris Douglas Roberts (14 minutes) SF: Bobby Simmons 20 minutes, Ryan Anderson (18 minutes) Chris Douglas Roberts (6 minutes) Yi Jianlin (4 minutes) PF: Yi Jianlin (22 minutes) Sean Williams (26 minutes) C: Josh Boone (28 minutes) Brook Lopez (20 minutes) Diop not resigned, Krstic traded
If Frank wasn't against starting rookies id say: Harris, Marcus VC, CDR, Ager Simmons, Anderson, CDR will play minutes here as well. (again this is if Frank didnt have the rookie bias, i dont see Hassell playing) Yi, Swat Lopez, Boone (anyone not mentioned was traded or not signed.(
Harris/Williams Carter/CDR/Ager Simmons/Anderson/Hassell Yi/Williams/Swift Boone/Lopez/Krstic But I think its safe to say we'll make at least one more move.

Otherwise we won't be able to just have a 4 man rotation.
Harris / Marcus VC/ CDR/ Ager Simmons/ Anderson/ Hassell Boone/ SWAT/ Swift Yi / Lopez Kristic, Diop , and Boki are gone...lets face it, i just hope we sign a solid backup SG like J.R Smith I defintly think CDR will make the team
Hi Everyone, first post ever, been a huge Nets fan since the Sam I am Cassell Days... (and oh were those dark dark days, haha) and I'm a good buddy of Rory's. I agree with FOMW about Harris and Carter, but the rest is a toss up. Also, being Taiwanese (Chinese) and seeing Yi come over, I have got to say, I really don't think he'll be starting anytime soon at all. He's got a lot of room to grow, he's waaaay to thin and can't board at all yet. He couldn't crack the Bucks roster and I definitely don't think ours is that much better. I would like to see a Boone and Nenad (assuming he's back and healthy) starting 4/5 or a Sean Williams and Nenad starting 4/5. I think they complement each other the best on the Nets. Not super high on Brook but meh, we'll see. As for the three... I could see Vince sliding over and us starting... I dunno, maybe Marcus?! (I really hope not) but most likely Simmons pending health. Excited to be here!

If Simmons plays well then he takes minutes away from both Anderson and CDR...If he plays himself out of the rotation then Yi, Anderson and CDR will all see more minutes at small forward.
I also wonder, with this roster, could we see Marcus/Harris/Carter start together? We'd need a backup point, but I wouldn't be surprised, depending on how well Simmons does, as well as Ager and CDR, and who else we'd consider starting.
my line-up right now as it stands would be: PG: MWilliams\DArmstron SG: Harris\Ager\CDR SF: Carter\Hassel\Anderson\Simmons PF: Swift\SWilliams\Yi C: Boone\Kristic\Lopez People forgot about swift

Even a sixth-man? C'mon. The guy was a second round pick in a weak draft. Like I just said in the Bulls fan, he'll be an energy player off the bench in a 10 mpg role at best.
OK theres no way Ill be able to predict the future roster moves, but- Harris, Watson (With Vince getting a little time at point when we want Yi to play 3) VC,Rush Yi, Pietrus,CDR,Anderson(with strong defender surounding him) Boone, Sean Williams Lopez, Krstic Were not a great team, probably a 6-8 seed, but at least we should be deep
