Rumor: OJ Mayo to Miami

    I heard a rumor on the radio today that OJ Mayo might not stay long in Memphis and could be headed to Miami for Beasley. Other players would also be involved, but no names were mentioned. I'd imagine the Heat would want to dump Blount or Banks in the deal as well and maybe take back Warrick?

    Pat Riley didn't want Beasley, but trusted his people on draft day. They are the same group who convinced Riley to draft Wade instead of Kaman.

    Really. Wow. I wonder what Memphis would give up to get Beasley. They gave us Miller for Mayo. Not Rudy Gay, right? Who would they give up?

    Yeah I understand that, I'm wondering who else they would give up. I don't think Miami would do it straight up. They just gave up Miller, who else could they let go? They have an abundance of pg's, so maybe Crittenton?

    This is just gossip.

    Beasley was Miami's guy since the moment they knew they'd be in the lottery last year.

    To sum up everything coming out of the Heat, "We had the #2 pick, and still somehow came out of the draft with Michael Beasley, nah nah, nah nah, nah nah!"

    I thought the Mayo thing was a smoke screen. If you have Wade you need Beasely more than Mayo or Rose.

    man, I was saying his as soon as Memphis traded for Mayo! One of the main things Miami needed was a point guard and Memphis really wanted Beasley. Memphis will package Mayo and a young PG for Beasley. Minnesota couldn't make such a deal to get beasley since they need PG's them selves
