He's a big man, and he shoots 46% from the field. In college. That's all you need to know [IMG]

to lazy to give an analysis, but those numbers are flawed. First he didn't get to play in the beginning of the year, so while every one was in midseason form, he waz just getting warmed up against pac 10 competition. Also he had absolutely no other offensively skilled player on his team, he usually had to fight off doubles and triple teams to get a shot off.

no i agree... lopez numbers arent fake because he came in mid season and it was against the top tier of competition... not easy wins or east opponents should i say, i heard that on draft nite i think

He came in mid season because he's a dumb ass, which anyone who's seen or heard him for two seconds can confirm.

He forced up shots because he refused to pass out of the post (which is something he can do very well), which is why Stanford's terrible guards often ignored him - even though he was their #1 offensive option by FAR.

He knew he wasn't gonna be in college after this year, so him letting his grade slip a little is understandable.

He refuse to pass out the post cause the players around him, can't even beat a mid-major team

they didn't ignore him, he touched the ball in 27% of their possessions, more than any other C in this draft. They didn't ignore him they tried to give him the ball every oppurtunity they could, but the weren't capable of doing it.

Of course he got the ball a lot. The coach called every single play for him. He was bigger than every guy he played against.

Don't complain that he had to shoot over double and triple teams. He was perfectly capable of making it easier for himself by getting his teammates involved and he rarely did.

As for the guards, it's true that Johnson is a terrible shooter, but he is a good ballhandler and got Brook the ball in good position. Goods can certainly knock down an open shot. He's a decent player. After a while though, these guys got stale and started forcing things to try and stay in the game. Brook would disappear and the announcers would whine and complain that he wasn't getting enough touches or that he seemed lethargic for long stretches.

And Brook is a dumb ass. He chose to attend Stanford University, not Florida State or West Virginia. He had to expect the academics would be more than his pea brain could handle.
