It seems we have one of the deepest frontcourts in the league filled with young talent...I mean look at the list: Brook Lopez Yi Jianlian Ryan Anderson Sean Williams Josh Boone Nenad Krstic Stromile Swift I think it's apparent that Yi, Anderson and Lopez are safe for now and that most likely Boone is as well due to the fact that he brings a different strength to the table compared to the others...that leaves Sean and Nenad. It would surprise me to see either traded I think Nenad is the most likely to go. Why not investigate with teams who need frontcourt help and have a dearth of wings... Nenad could go to Atlanta for Childress or Chicago for Selfosha fairly easily...
If anyone Krstic is most likely to get traded. I think they want to work on Sean Williams a bit more and see if they can make him into somthing special. Too much potential to trade away after one season.
I been saying Kristic to Memphis for Kyle Lowry would be a good fit for both teams. Memphis has an abundant amount of guards and we have an abundant amount of bigs.

id try to trade S & T krstic, m. williams, swift's expiring, kvh's contract and our 3 million trade exemption.... for a star... *cough* elton brand *cough* (a man can dream and hope rite?) well its doable and it gives the clippers a PG in m. williams and with a fresh start in a new city could fuel him to be hungry to get better... and swift and kvh comes off next year almost 10 million of the books for them, and still a young krstic to go along with kaman? they can use the 3 million trade exemption on a filler for their needs. on a side note... whats this GSW - knicks trade for monte?!?!? monte for the MLE?!?! are u kidding me... thorn and kiki better look at this!

I like the Lowery concept, but now that we have so many young guys I'm not sure I want another at back-up pg.

Portland was a annual playoff contender until a few years ago but instead of delaying the rebuilding they embraced it and are now set up to be a downright dominant team for the next 10 years... The Knicks needed to rebuild about 7 years ago but instead kept adding expensive players to there roster and trading away draft picks and they still suck and are farther away from winning then they were a few years ago... Sometimes you need to take a step back to take a step forward...that's the way it goes.
I think Stromlie will get traded. Hes making a littles less than 6 million on an expiring deal. So we could take back a player w/ 2 years left and throw in one of our assets. Antonio Daniels? Matt Harpring? Mobley? If back to form Krstic at least brings shooting. Stromile is the same player as Sean w/o the incredible shot blocking.
