Celtics Make Offer To Maggette

The Clippers owner is notoriously cheap. I would not be surprized if they did not sign one of them.

 

I'll take Posey any day of the week and twice on Sundays, he jsut fits this team better. A lot better.

 

Well, now reading that Tony Allen is a FA, that makes all the more sense to bring in Maggette, and obviously Posey, to be the reserve 2 and 3 guys.

Lol, I bet KG and Pierce are calling Maggette numerous times to make him sign a contract with the C's.

 

The Celtics can't sign both, it's either or.

 

If they split the MLE they can. lol

Imagine if KG offered half his salary to get Maggette. I bet he'd do it.

Well Posey opted out of 3.5 mill or whatever so if the Celts sign Maggette that will take up all of their MLE and Posey wont want to sign for 1.8 mill if the Celts have the LLE available. As well PJ Brown might retire, and House and Cassell are free agents, so the Celts have to get them back on board (moreso House and PJ).
