I know some people didn't see it and were asking for a link, it's currently available on the nets site
After watching the press conference, Brook Lopez is a funny guy and should bring a nice sense of humor to the lockeroom. It seems to me that he feels like the offensive game will come easy to him, and he wants to emphasize his defensive abilities to be considered a good all around player who can play both ends of the floor Ryan Anderson looks like a well polished kid, and seems like a guy who will show up evrynight and do his job night in and night out CDR is the wildcard here, it seemed to me that he was still bitter about where he got drafted (IMO because of the contract $ he will get as a result of where he got drafted) but is happy to be a Net and is on a mission to show the league what all the other teams passed up on. I think he could be a great 6th man off the bench who can score 10-12ppg, im curious to see how good he can be on the defensive side of the court especially with his size he should be a good defender at the 2spot Im very happy with these rookies and havent felt this good about a Nets draft class probably ever. I was also a BIG fan of Bayless, but i was not dissapointed to get Brook. I think Brook will be a very solid center in this league and a cornerstone of the Nets for several years to come. Also i find it interesting how no one on the boards is discussing that currently we are the youngest team in the NBA

Personally I'll like watching an exciting team. I've enjoyed watching the Blazers and Hawks for that very reason.
CDR shouldnt be sad, 2nd rounder can make it to the free agent market faster. Look at Carl Landry, he played great and now have multiple teams going after him. If CDR can play as we as Landry did, he might have multiple suitors waiting for him after this season.

Anyone notice towards the beginning of the video when CDR is asked about his relationship with Anderson and Lopez or somethin like that and he says he's already comfortable with chris and brook? Meaning ryan anderson and brook lopez. Smooth move CDR.
Chris Douglas-Roberts was sooo impressive. The kid has such maturity and confidence. And Brook Lopez is legitimately funny. His timing on the Colllins response..."who was that twin?" Those guys do not appear to be just beyond their 20th birthday (Anderson and Lopez) or their 21st (CDR).
