<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chris Duhon visited the Knicks’ suburban training center on Tuesday, making him the early favorite to fill their need at point guard.

Duhon, 25, has played his entire four-year career for the Chicago Bulls, but he does not appear to be in their long-term plans. The Bulls have a glut of guards and last week selected point guard Derrick Rose with the first pick in the N.B.A. draft. The Knicks need a true point guard and may view Duhon as the eventual successor to Stephon Marbury. Marbury, who has one year left on his contract, has worn out coaches and teammates. He could be traded, waived or bought out before next season.

Duhon is being pursued by several teams in need of a backup point guard. But his decision to visit with Coach Mike D’Antoni on the first day of free agency seemed to be a promising sign for the Knicks. Duhon, a steady ball-handler and solid 3-point shooter, is viewed as a good fit in D’Antoni’s system. He is also an above-average defender.</div>

I really hope somehow we can get some pieces in return for Marbury instead of letting him go so easy
