not knowing if Kristic will return to form, I'd say do it. They're about the same age, right? How's V's contract?
Link? If he signs the offer we made to him, I guess it could work financially. I don't see why we need to do this deal.

Do it. They both are putting up practically the same numbers. Plus Charlie is more athletic and a year younger.
I'd hope this never goes through. We'd need to add 12 Nets mods to just edit all the 'flipper' jokes. -Petey
Chad Ford never proposed anything. He just said Milwaukee would be interested in a possible sign and trade for Krstic. He didn't bring up any names other than Krstic.
After watching CV for an entire season with the Bucks, I'm not a big fan of his style. He does make a good bench player, but he wants to be a starter. We'll repeat the same fiasco with VC/Yi overlapping again. If you want to do a S&T with Kristic and desperate to get some value back, then maybe. Not terrible, but couldn't we do better? Oh, CV can't play SF. Zero defensive ability on the perimeter. He makes a decent face up scoring PF, he require a lot of touches.

Chad Ford: They should be rethinking it. For those of you that didn't follow the story the Cavs offered Wally Szcerbiak's expiring contract for VC on draft night. The Nets said no. I think it's a no brainer for New Jersey. VC is making too much money. He would help cripple the Cavs ability to lure other free agents to the team in 2010 when LeBron is a free agent. It's a 2-for-1 for New Jersey.</div> <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Nate (Madison): Hey Chad, appreciate the work. One Bucks question here. What's your take on their moves as of late and do you see them making another move? Their roster just lacks a true PF and seems to have a log jam in wingmen, just can't imagine Hammond standing still the rest of the summer. Chad Ford: Sounds like the Bucks are going for it and yes, they need another four. I wouldn't be surprised to see them work a sign-and-trade with the Nets for Nenad Krstic. He was a borderline All-Star before getting hurt. He's only looking for a 2 to 3 year deal, so he'd be worth the risk.</div> Thanks Mamba!

it would be cool to see Charlie, Marcus, and Boone on court at the same time... a little UConn reunion

If we have a team with Charlie and Marcus off the bench and Boone starting, I may very well buy season Tickets. I bleed Huskie.
