I don't have a link or anything but on ESPNews it said that Boston offered Maggette a deal. The Celtics just tore the league a new one with 3 superstars let alone a 4th. I hope this doesn't go through or we are looking at an absolute powerhouse for years to come.. not to mention how annoying it will be with everyone on nba live being Boston lol

I thought his biggest beef with the Clippers was playing time. How does this work? How does it work with the Spurs?

The latest is the Spurs getting him. Championship contenders are going to be throwing their MLE @ him. I expect the Lakers to do the same. It's up to Maggette to pick where he wants to go.

He would be a GREAT fit with the Spurs IMO. I think the Spurs would move back into #1 in the West if they were to get him, hes exactly the type of player they have lacked

They both are pretty much the same types of players. If the Spurs get him they'll be back in the championship. He's a little underrated.

The Lakers are still the team to beat in the West, i think posey or pietrus might end up in LA.

I think Posey wants to stay with Boston, but Pietrus could possibly be in LA.

Maggette makes the Spurs better, but they are still far inferior to the Lakers.

I'd like to see him sign with the Lakers.

The Spurs have gotten enough FA discounts in the past few years (yes the Lakers have gotten them too, but they are years removed from them).

maggette is a realy good player. very underrated, he doesnt get superstar treatment yet draws fouls at an amazing rate. this is the same guy who shot 20 something FTs against the lakers on the road. he enjoys attacking the basket and has ana amazing body to finish with. very underrated and efficient scorer

I don't think everyone is screwed, but he'll make them better. Pop has a system, and I'd like to see how well Maggette can play under his system. But, I really doubt that's where he'll go. I can see him going back to LA if Brand re-signs. Brand and Maggette are pretty good friend, I assume, and they have a lot of influence on each other, so it could happen.

If the Clippers sign Baron and Brand w/ their cap space, they won't have an MLE or LLE to even offer Maggette. He would have to settle for the league min. I don't see him doing that.

He won't sign for the league min, because he wants tons of money, but it's a good chance at a championship.

I`d like to see the Rockets land a big free agent and solidify as contenders. I would like to see Orlando, Miami, Clippers or Houston to land him.

Unless they already have spent their MLE (which I don`t think is possible at this point). After those deals would be signed, teh MLE could still be added on top.
