http://www.theknicksblog.com/2008/07/01/swift-a-possibility/ Who do u want from the Knicks if we sign and trade. I know it says their gonna pick him up as a free agent, but they got their eye on Duhon right now, as a free agent and been linked to have offered a 2yr- 11.5 mil contract . So what do u want back if this happens. Trade him or not? Thoughts.

we don't have to sign him to a six million per year contract, do we? we could sign him to a 2 million per yr or so and maybe get balkman and maybe even mardy collins or nate robinson.

There's no way the Knicks trade one of their young players for a 29 year old underachiever who averaged 6 points. No expiring contracts either. I love this new regime!
Future pick, future I mean years down the road. The Phoenix did it with the Marbury trade. I think the Knicks' 2010 first round goes the Suns in that deal, and that trade was made a few years ago. The Knicks wont give up anything more than a Rose, so might as well stock up on draft picks.

Even then, that was more of a fun joke than any realistic means for supporting a ridiculous roster move.
