Link <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the league opponents and game sites for its men’s basketball teams for the 2008-09 regular season. In 2008-09, the BIG EAST will once again play an 18-game conference schedule, allowing teams to face each opponent once and three teams twice. It will mark the second year of the 18-game schedule, which began for the 2007-08 season. All 144 regular-season conference games will once again be televised, either by CBS Sports, the ESPN family of networks or ESPN Regional Television. In the first year of the 18-game conference schedule, the BIG EAST tied its own NCAA record by placing eight schools into the NCAA tournament. At least one preseason ranking for 2008-09, lists three BIG EAST teams among the national top five, five among the top 15 and seven among the top 25. The decisions regarding repeat opponents are based on natural interest, geography, rivalries, television contractual obligations and competitive balance.</div>
Very tough schedule but hopefully we can start off strong. I'm hoping to go to the CINCINNATI or GEORGETOWN game.
I gotta go to the Georgetown, Villanova, WVU, and/or Louiseville game(s). I'm in desperate need of watching some SU games this year.
I'll be at all the RU home games since, you know, I'll actually be on campus now. Should be fun watching Rosario, Chandler, N'Diaye and company bring the RAC back. I remember going to a game back when I was about 8 or 9 years old against Georgetown. That was especially fun since my mom went to RU and dad to G-town. Good times. I think that was the first time I ever stepped foot in the RAC.

Try to get in contact with the NJSIAA and you can get supremo tickets. My dad has a contact in there where we get seats no less than 10 rows off the floor for all of those games, and that's the best damn basketball you can see.
The Big East is pathetic. Why not just split into two conferences? It just sort of defeats the point of a conference when there are a lot of teams that don't play eachother twice and not every team even makes the conference tournament. I've always seen it like the 19-and-up rule, a move made for the money, commercialization, and fan appeal.

The teams they added from C-USA have paid off in both money sports.

I saw him play at my high school. He had an amazing game, looking forward to it.
