hey hey hey don't blame me for this!

I think this has been beaten to death, but if people are still curious, then I'll say that Kidd saved this franchise from doom and is one of the all-time greats for this team, but is also a beeatch.

he is the reason I became a nets fan in the first place. Without him this franchise would still suck... KMart wouldnt have got his max deal, RJ would be a borderline starter, Marbury (sigh) might still be in these colours and Frank would def not be our coach...

A mixed bag of dominos but I still love the years 2001-2006... Great fast break basketball.

He acted like a petulant child to get out at the end, but he was the victim of a bad front office.

He did a lot for this franchise, even hit some clutch shots for us back then. He played his ass off and might have brought us to the ECF in 06' if Krstic never went down. BUT his arrogance towards coaches is something that pissed me off...getting Byron Scott fired was retarded.

I love what he did for the franchise and I'll always remember him for it. Sadly, some people will only remember how it ended, and will ignore his accomplishments here, which really is quite sad. Sure, it ended in a not-so-good way, but you can't help but appreciate what he did in a Nets uniform.

That was partially the organization, sure Kidd stopped listening, but it was a bad choice by the front office. Its no different than the Kobe-Phil drama of the past, and Kobe later realized that he needed that coach back. Kidd was left with an inexperienced head coach that let him do whatever he wanted, but wasn't the most successful.

It was the right decision, but it was made too late.

The Scott that coached the Nets was different than the Scott that coaches the Hornets. When he was with the Nets, he never did any of the game planning or film watching. He also wasn't involved in player development. Scott wanted to sit on the sidelines like a CEO as his coach Riley did.

When he was with the Nets, golfing was more important to Scott than who the next opponent was.

I still love Kidd but would hate to see him win a championship after acting like a child here.

Byron Scott should have been fired long before he was. Get a clue.
