To say the least, I'm absolutely stoked for this tonight. For those not in the Iowa area....which is likely everyone but me, here's what the set list is looking like.

    12:30-12:50pm - Marcato
    1:10-1:30pm - Mindrite
    1:50-2:10pm - Destrophy
    2:30-3pm - Facecage
    3-3:30pm - Palmerston
    3:30-4pm - Index Case
4-4:30pm - Five Finger Death Punch
    4:30-5pm - Curbstone
    5pm-5:40pm - Filter
    5:40-6:10pm - Drowning Pool
    6:10 – 7:00pm - Hinder
    7:30 – 8:30pm - Staind
    9:00 – 10:15pm - Stone Temple Pilots

While I'm not a huge fan of STP, I do like some of their stuff so hopefully they put on a good show. The main band I'm pumped to see is Staind. I've seen them twice but I'm pumped to see them again. I'm also excited to see Filter - I love their new disc and they're a band that I've liked for quite some time.

Though, I'm pretty iffy on some of the bands. Basically everyone up until FFDP is a local act. I love Destrophy and Index Case is damn good, but the rest I'm not sure about. I've heard of Marcato but am not a huge fan, so it might be a good thing I only have to put up with them for 20 minutes. But regardless, I'm pumped for the festival. Damn it needs to be Saturday!

Filter is the only band on there that is partially good. Fake ass nu-metal crapfest.

Eh, that's your opinion Sasha. We've always had differing tastes in music, so I almost half expect you to insult my music taste at this point. But hey, to each his own.

I agree, but not in that childish sense, Sasha.

I do like Lazerfests though. Pink Floyd throw some good ones! [IMG]

Oh boo hoo seriously. I just don't understand how seeing all those bands that all sound the same pretty much is in any way entertaining. I'm not trying to be a dick, I just don't get it. Please explain what makes these bands good?

It's just the type of music I like. Pretty simple. I don't really think I'd need to expand why I like each and every one of them (though I hadn't heard of a good chunk of the bands on the bill until yesterday).

Speaking of the concert, I had a great time yesterday. The only bands that weren't that great were Curbstone and Hinder, everyone else was pretty damn good.
