Yahoo Sports <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP)—Louisville wide receiver Trent Guy was shot in the back early Saturday outside garage near a downtown nightclub. The school said it expects him to fully recover. The 20-year-old junior was taken to University Hospital, where he was in stable condition after surgery, athletic department spokesman Rocco Gasparro said. “His injuries aren’t as severe as they could be,” said Gasparro, who visited Guy. “At this time, we expect him to have a full recovery, but it’s too early to speculate on his playing status.” Police said there have been no arrests and they are investigating.</div> Hope he's okay.
That program is in shambles. Petrino got out while the getting was good as he had a lot of questionable characters on that roster.

Of course, Michigan State was his other finalist from what I remember, and the last NJ QB to go to the Spartans (Natale) transferred to Rutgers after a year and is the likely leader for the starting job next year. These guys are better off staying home.

I was thinking of suggesting we consider moving the NVBA Sonics to Louisville, but I had no idea the nightlife was so dangerous.
