Is it far fetched to say that Devin Harris can easily average 20 a game with Jefferson gone now or do you think it will be much harder for him now that he is moved into a second scoring option?
Dont see why not. Its not like we have a ton of offensive weapons. I just wish someone besides Sean Williams and Boone would run with him, maybe CDR will.
Most definately. He could average 27ppg and 2 assits if he play a la Carrol. But with the team we have so far I would say he will average from 18-22ppg and 6-9 assits per game and maybe a steal too.
I'm more interested in how many assists he can rack up. Scoring should be no problem for him this year even though he doesn't shoot that well he is so quick I expect to see him going to the line 9-10 times a game.

Defense and assists that is what I want to sse from Harris. If he wants to be a scoring guard move him over and find someone else to run the point or hand it over to M. Will (I doubt people want this.) If he works on his floor leadership, drive and kick outs, and low post passing, there are too many players here the can we can get a double digit scoring from.
I just hope he can score with efficiency closer to what he had in Dallas rather than what he had last with the Nets last year. I'd rather have him score 16 ppg at 48% shooting than 20 at 43%.
i think he can.... i dont think he needs to. i think his offense will come in spurts. big nights when his jumper is on, less when his jumper isnt falling. his game needs to be more focused on defense, and making teams pay in the open court. i think he will average like 17-18 a game

He won't average 22 points or 9 assists either. Expect a stat line around 17/6/1.5 (steals) if he play 30-35 mpg.
He can, but he won't. I think he'll max out at about 18 ppg. I'm more interested in his ability to distribute and pass. Playing with Yi and Anderson should be fun with his ability to get into the lane and kick the ball out.
I don't think he can. Unless he gets a consistent jumper, I don't see it happening. Plus, they should be more worried about him getting others involved instead of getting his own.
Harris for some reason fell in love with the 3 point sho0t last year. He has to learn behind the 3 point line is not his spot.

Just the thought of Harris averaging 20+ ppg makes me sick. What ever happened to point guards looking to distribute the ball instead of shooting it? Not too long ago I remember someone on the Nets that had that mentality.
